Notice of Conclusion Review of Polling Districts and Polling Places Electoral Registration and Administration Act 2013 – Section 17 Electoral Administration Act 2006 – Section 16 Representation of the People Act 1983 – Sections 18A-18E and Schedule 1 North Kesteven District Council has concluded a review of Polling Districts and Polling Places as required by Section 17 of the Electoral Registration and Administration Act 2013. At a meeting of Full Council held on 18 December 2018, the Council resolved to approve the following changes to polling districts and polling places: District Ward Parish Changes to polling districts and polling places Billinghay, Dogdyke Orchard Caravan Club House, Witham Bank, Chapel Hill Martin and designated as the permanent polling place for electors in North Kyme Dogdyke parish. Kirkby La Kirkby La Current polling district to be split into two polling districts, with Thorpe and Thorpe an additional polling place for the second district. Details as South Kyme follows: Polling District JD001 - Kirkby La Thorpe (Pt 1). Includes the following streets: Church Lane, Evedon Road, Ewerby Road, Mount Lane (Total of 123 properties and 246 overall electors): Polling place for JD001 - Kirkby La Thorpe & Asgarby C P School. Polling District JD002- Kirkby La Thorpe (Pt 2) Includes the following streets: Bramling Way, Burns Crescent, Byron Close, Centurion Close, Chaucer Gardens, Coleridge Gardens, Eliot Close, Empire Court, Forum Way, Keats Drive, Kipling Drive, Maltkiln Close, Milton Way, Railway Cottages, Russell Crescent, Shelley Drive, The Hoplands, Wordsworth Court (Total of 362 properties and 668 electors). Polling Place for JD002 - Sleaford Football Club. Metheringham Blankney The Old School Building at Main Road, Blankney designated as the permanent polling place for electors in Blankney parish. North North Change of polling place for parts 2 and 3 of North Hykeham Hykeham Mill Hykeham Grange town ward from Manor Farm Academy to North Grange Hykeham Community Hub in Valerian Place. Ruskington Ruskington Change of polling place for part of Ruskington parish (Polling Districts OA001 and OA002) from the Winchelsea Centre to Ruskington Methodist Church. Ruskington Methodist Church will now be the only designated polling place for Ruskington. Sleaford Sleaford Additional polling district and polling place, and revised Holdingham Holdingham boundary. New polling district: QB003 – Sleaford Holdingham (Pt 3) Includes the following streets: From Polling District QB001 Newark Road, Croft Close, Furlong Way, Holdingham (part of – properties: Anna House, Foxley, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14), Hyde Way, Jacobson Close, Snow Close, Whittle Road From Polling District QB002 East Road The permanent polling place for the new polling district is Glenholme Holdingham Grange (care home), Whittle Road, Holdingham Sleaford NG34 8YU. All other polling districts and polling places will remain unchanged following the review. Full details of polling arrangements for the North Kesteven District are available for inspection at the Electoral Services office, Council Offices, Kesteven Street, Sleaford and are available at http://www.nkesteven.gov.uk/pollingreview The revised polling district and polling places take effect from 1 February 2019. The next compulsory full review of polling districts and polling places will take place between October 2023 and January 2025. However, North Kesteven District Council will keep polling districts and polling places under constant review and comments or suggestions can be made at any time to the address given below.
