Meet the newest microbrewery on the block. Funk Brewing opened its doors on Main Street in Elizabethtown and brought a unique selection of beers to town. Funk Brewing has another location in Emmaus, but one of the owners decided to create a location in his hometown, right here in Elizabethtown. It’s a good thing he did. If you’re 21 or older, then this trendy brew spot is a must to try out some craft beers and food. With a rotating beer list, seasonal beers pop up often but fruity, citrus IPAs always make the list. The brewery has eight rotating taps, and local wines and cider for those who are not beer fans. Want to try their selection without breaking your wallet? Funk has a super flight, which includes 20 beer samples for $20. (Price may vary.) Although Funk Brewing is mostly a beer joint, the food is another reason to head out to Main Street. The small bites, sandwiches and appetizers are tasty and pair nicely with the microbrew selection. You can snack, drink and listen to live music. If the allure of their beers doesn’t tempt you, they also have trivia nights with prizes. Arrive early to grab a seat.
