1 ATTENTION EXHIBITORS In recognition of the upcoming Fourth of July holiday, we would like to kick off the holiday with all four days being designated as "business casual dress" for both judges and exhibitors! On Saturday, we will hold our annual PATRIOTIC CONTESTS for Best and Reserve Best Dressed Exhibitor in Show. Be creative and break out that red, white and blue!!! And don't forget about your campsite! There will be Best and Reserve Best in Show Patriotic Campsite. Judges will circulate throughout the grounds during the day and contestants will be asked to be at the group ring 15 minutes before the start of the regular groups for the final juding. Gift baskets will be awarded to the winners.

On Saturday, starting ONE HOUR after Best in Show, we invite everyone to a Fourth of July picnic. The Club will provide hamburgers, hot , salads, chips and cookies. BYOB your own beverage, plates and table service. (Due to possible COVID restrictions, we will not be accepting potluck dishes.) Donations to offset the cost of the picnic will be gratefully accepted. Come and enjoy the camaraderie with your fellow exhibitors!

! THESE SHOWS ARE CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC. NO SPECTATORS ARE ALLOWED. ! IF YOU DO NOT PLAN TO WEAR A FACE COVERING PLEASE DO NOT COME TO OUR SHOWS. YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ON THE GROUNDS. ! Face coverings must be worn at all times by everyone over the age of two unless eating, drinking or in and around your RV or vehicle. Please bring your own face covering. ! Everyone that attends the cluster must sign the waiver that is available in the premium list or online at www.infodog.com. Everyone must submit a waiver. ! Exhibitors should follow their doctor's advice on attending the shows if they are in a high-risk group for COVID-19. ! The Grounds will not be available until Wednesday at 1:00 P.M. The gates will close at 10:00 P.M. each night during the show. All exhibitors and vendors must be off the grounds 1 Hour after Best in Show on Sunday. ! The Grounds will open each morning of the shows at 6:00 A.M. ! No public seating will be available. You are welcome to bring your own chair, but chairs must not be left unattended. Physical distancing will be required. ! Ringside crating will be available in designated areas only. The area will be available 15 minutes before and after your breed is being judged. Please be mindful of other exhibitors and please adhere to the 15-minute rule. No Grooming will be allowed under the ring tents. ! Only the Ring Stewards will have access to the ringside catalog. Please try to know your numbers. ! There will be no catalogs available at the rings. Catalogs may be purchased for individual use. Please prepare the list of armband numbers that you need before you visit the steward. ! Cooperation with all club members, Event Committee members, AKC personnel, RV parking personnel, and General Clinton Park Security is mandatory. Following instructions and directions is required at all times. ! Using rude, abusive, or foul language, or arguing or behaving objectionably against club officials, RV parking personnel or General Clinton Park Security will result in that attendee being immediately subject to a Bench Show Hearing and/or being removed from the grounds.

THIS COVID-19 WAIVER IS FOR CLUB MEMBERS, WORKERS, VENDORS, EXHIBITORS, OWNERS, HANDLERS, BREEDERS, ASSISTANTS, FAMILY MEMBERS, FRIENDS, AND ANYONE ELSE ON THE SHOW GROUNDS. A judge requesting the use of a ramp must give notice to the show superintendent/show secretary prior to judging. AKC approval is not required. The entire entry in a breed is to be examined in the same manner (ground, table, or ramp).

At the discretion of the judge, the following breeds may be judged on a ramp through all levels of competition: Lagotto Romagnolo, Nova Scotia Duck Tolling , American Water , English Springer Spaniels, Field Spaniels, Welsh Springer Spaniels, Grand Basset Griffon Vendeen, Standard , American Staffordshire Terriers, Irish Terriers, Kerry Blue Terriers, Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Finnish , Entlebucher Mountain Dogs, Finnish Lapphunds, Icelandic Sheepdogs, Norwegian Buhunds, Polish Lowland Sheepdogs, Spanish Water Dogs, and Norrbottenspets (Misc.).

At the discretion of the judge through all levels of competition, the following breeds may be judged on the ground, a ramp, or on a table: Boykin Spaniels, Whippets, Miniature Bull Terriers.

The following breeds must be judged on a ramp through all levels of conformation competition: Clumber Spaniels, Sussex Spaniels, Basset , Cirneco dell’Etnas, Bulldogs, Chinese Shar-Pei, Chow Chows and Keeshonden.

This extends to all conformation competition at AKC conformation dog shows and any AKC event where a conformation title may be earned. This policy includes Group, BIS, Junior Showmanship, the 4–6 Month Beginner Puppy Competition, the AKC National Owner-Handled Series (NOHS), and all other special attractions that offer Group and BIS competitions.

Ramps can be used in emergency situation to judge any breed.In an emergency situation, where use of a ramp is not indicated in the premium list, an exhibitor has the option of withdrawing their entry and receiving a refund. For the judging of juniors the ramp may be used at the discretion of the judge for the ramp optional breed

REGARDING THE SEPARATE TENT FOR TERRIERS AND TOYS In the event of judging or scheduling conflicts, it may be necessary for certain Toys and Terriers to be judged under the main judging tent. After the entries are compiled, please consult the Judging Schedules for ring number and time.

5 BEGINNER PUPPY SPECIAL ATTRACTION FRIDAY & SATURDAY, July 2 & 3 Bring your Beginner (4-6 months of age) to the Saratoga New York & Chenango Valley Kennel Clubs. Four to Six Month Special Attraction (AKC Sanctioned). One combined class will be offered for breeds and varieties of dogs that are four months and under six months and divided into Groups as described in Chapter 3, Section 1 of the Rules Applying to Dog Shows and the Miscellaneous Class breeds as listed in Chapter 3, Section 23. There will be a selection of Best of Breed Puppy in each Breed/Variety. All Best of Breed Puppy winners will then compete in their respective group for First through Fourth. The Miscellaneous class competition will be judged by breed followed by a group competition. Foundation Stock Service (FSS) breeds may compete and the winners of each FSS breed will compete in an "FSS Group". The Miscellaneous Group an FSS Group winners will be eligible to compete in Best 4-6 Month Puppy in Show. An AKC registration number or litter number is required for entries of an AKC recognized breed. FSS number or FSS registered litter number is required for Miscellaneous & FSS Breed entries. Dogs must be four months of age and under six months. Dogs are required to be vaccinated in accordance with their veterinarian's protocol in order to avoid inadvertent transmission of illness by/to puppies not yet fully immunized. AKC Rules in Dealing with Misconduct will be applicable to any person and dog entered at this competition. All applicable rules found in Rules Applying to Dog Shows will govern the conduct of this competition unless these regulations state otherwise. Exhibitors should plan on opening the mouth of their puppy for the judges. Breed standard disqualifications such as color, height, weight or dentition shall not be a point of consideration in the judging process for this 4-6 month Puppy Special Attraction event. 6 Best Owner-Handled in Show Competition - All four days National Owner-Handled Series The AKC Owner/Handled Series is a non-titling competition for dogs that are exhibited by their owners who are not professional handlers. This series of special competitions will be offered at dog shows across the country. All dogs that are owner/handled and are not owned or exhibited by professional handlers' meet the requirements for this competition. Exhibitors must declare their dog is Owner/Handler eligible at the time of entry using the check box on the entry form. Eligible dogs will be identified by an asterisk in the steward's book and the catalog. Dogs must be handled throughout the competition by an eligible owner. Professional handlers may not exhibit the dog in this competition.

The Owner Handled Best of Breed will be selected from the dogs that are eligible to compete in the Best of Breed competition including Winners Dog, Winners Bitch and winners of the non-regular classes. ! If the Best of Breed/Variety winner is Owner-Handled competition eligible, it will automatically be Owner Handled Best of Breed/Variety and be eligible to compete in both the regular as well as the Owner-Handled Group. ! If the Best of Breed/Variety winner is Owner-Handled competition ineligible and the Best of Opposite Sex to Best of Breed/Variety will compete against the eligible undefeated exhibits of the owner sex to determine Owner-Handled Best of Breed/Variety. ! If the Best of Breed and Best of Opposite Sex to Best of Breed/Variety are both ineligible and Select Dog and Select Bitch are both eligible, the judge is to choose Best Owner-Handled exhibit from the Selects and eligible Winners Dog or Winners Bitch. ! If one of the Selects is eligible, excuse all dogs of the same sex and then choose Best Owner-Handled exhibit from the remaining dogs of the opposite sex including the eligible Winners. ! If Best of Breed, Best of Opposite Sex to Best of Breed, Select Dog & Select Bitch are ineligible, the judge may choose any eligible dog remaining in the ring including Winners Dog or Winners Bitch as Owner- Handled Best of Breed/Variety. MASTER CLASS: This Class will be for boys and girls who are at least 9 years old and under 18 years on the day of the show, and who have won the 10 Best Juniors with competition to be eligible to enter the Limited Class Competition. The calendar for this class will consistent with the eligibility dates for the AKC Eukanuba National Championship. All Juniors meeting the criteria for this class are required to entry the Master Class and may change their entry the day of the show if entries have already closed. Once the eligibility time frame for that year has passed all participants return to the Open Class to complete for the following year.

Competition must exist for Best Junior Handler.

ENTRY FEES shall not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Veterinarian or Judge, or barred from competition by action of Show Committee. If because of riots, civil disturbances or other acts beyond the control of the management it is impossible to open or to complete the show, no refund of entry fee will be made. ERRORS ON ENTRY BLANKS. Owners are responsible for errors in making out entry forms, whoever may make such errors, and no entry fee will be refunded in event of such errors or cancellation of entries after the published closing date. NO REFUND FOR DUPLICATE ENTRIES. We will make every effort to find all duplicate entries, but if a dog has been processed, no refund will be made. CONSULT JUDGING PROGRAM FOR TIME OF JUDGING. DOGS MAY ARRIVE any time prior to their scheduled time of judging. DOGS NOT REQUIRED for further judging will be excused. JUDGES WILL NOT WAIT FOR ANY DOG HOLDING UP A CLASS. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging ring when their classes are called to be judged. The show-giving club and the superintendent have no obligation or responsibility for providing service through a public address system or stewards or runners for the purpose of calling or locating dogs that are not brought into the ring when required. ALL DOGS PRESENT must be held on leash or confined to their crates except when being judged or when in the exercising ring. CLASS CASH PRIZES will be paid in the ring to the person showing the dog. Claims for prize money must be made in the ring before the judging of that breed is over, and the Superintendent to be advised at once. The Superintendent and Show-giving Club may disclaim any liability for cash prizes after the judging of the breed is over. THE SHOW COMMITTEE/SUPERINTENDENT will use due care and diligence for the welfare of dogs and exhibitors, but will not be responsible for, nor assume any liability in the event of an accident or misfortune to either dogs or exhibitors participating in this show. ENTRY FORM CHANGES, additions or corrections MUST be received in writing or by telegram prior to the closing of entries. Those received by telephone are NOT acceptable. CAMPING Reservations accepted with payment in full until June 16, 2021. Make checks payable to CVKC, all payments must be in US Funds. No Money Orders accepted. Request for refund must be made prior to show closing. Any site not occupied after 24 hours of reservation will be re-issued unless otherwide notified. No Air Conditioners may run off park electric. Those wishing to have AC must use generators. Electric cord and hose will be needed. No generators to be run between 11:00 PM and 6:00 AM unless in designated generator areas.

Quiet hours are 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Please observe these hours. This means dogs, generators and people. No electric cords to be run across roads unless assigned. No swimming (dogs or people) in river or creek. No open fires. No electric to be used in the camping area unless paid for. All sites are handicap accessible. All sites are 50' deep x 25' wide. If more room is needed, you will be charged for additional space and prior arrangements must be made. All campers must use a Y-connector for water hookup. Camping card must be visible at all times. Additional electric cord and/or water hose will be needed at most sites. Campers assigned electric may only hook one 15 amp plug per site. Any site not occupied by midnight Friday will be reissued, unless otherwise notified. All campers and day handlers will leave their site in the same condition found or face a penalty set by Clubs. Penalty could involve refusal of camping privileges and/or bill for cleaning site. Any harassment of camping/parking officials will result in Bench Show hearing. Immediate eviction from camp of anyone doing the following: *Camping without paying *Hooking to electric without payment *Removing or moving stakes used to mark sites *saving site without paying for said site *Occupying more than one site without paying additional fee All of the above can be considered theft of services and may be prosecuted. Overnight parking is a courtesy to the exhibitors. The show giving clubs, club members, executive board, agents, officers and superintendent and General Clinton Park officials nd employees and any employee of the American Kennel Club will not be liable for damages, loss or injury which may be sustained while on the show grounds. This is to include disappearance, loss, theft, injury and/or death of any dogs entered in these shows. The Show Chairpersons have the authority to change rules for the safety and comfort of dogs and exhibitors. All exhibitors are expected to display good sportsmanship and act like ladies and gentlemen. The event committee will deal with violations in any area. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for a show closed. If a registered dog has been acquired by a new owner it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any show for which entries closed after the date of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certificate indicating that the dog is recorded in his name.
