SPIRIDON/2 LA PARTE MIGLIORE La tregua olimpica per Londra 2012, votata all’unanimità dall’Assemblea Generale dell’Onu, con relatore nel Palazzo di Vetro Sebastian Coe, a nome del Governo britannico, ripropone il ruolo che può avere lo sport nella vita di tutti e per la pace del mondo: per questo si prova un sentimento di ripulsione quando, per scelta politica, si ha il boicottaggio di una manifestazione oppure un atleta rifiuta di affrontarne un altro. E’ il segno di quanto sia ancora fragile la cosiddetta civiltà, che non per nulla rimane concetto astratto. Così come la lealtà che viene meno ogni volta che si tenta di giustificare chi ha cercato – e magari ci è riuscito anche – di vincere barando, come da tempo sta accadendo in Spagna. L’argomento andrebbe meditato, specie dai politici, tra i quali invece l’interesse per lo sport si è diffuso in ragione del bacino di voti che può rappresentare. Ma non è questo l’argomento che vorrei trattare in queste righe, bensì – e qui si parla di sport vero e non quello praticato a tavolino e nei laboratori – dell’improvvisa opulenza che può vantare la maratona femminile italiana,
