Magnolia Ave., Orlando • Newsletter distributed • Business Development plan under review oCoordinating business outreach efforts with LYNX/Votran, local partners • Marketing plan due in May Project Update Benchmarking Research • Conducted by UCF • More than 500 people surveyed by phone • More than 2,200 people surveyed online • Major employers and business organizations surveyed Best Practices Research • The employer discount programs of 8 systems were studied • The ridesharing initiatives, rewards programs and social media outreach to businesses of an additional 8 systems were studied Project Update SunRail Ridership Research • High awareness of the name “SunRail.” An average of 92.4 percent of those responding in the phone and street-intercept surveys, in addition to the 65 small-group participants, said they had heard about SunRail before they were interviewed • More than 30 percent of the participants in the phone survey and small groups knew that SunRail operations would begin in 2014.
