Saverio Clemente Andrea De Amici Luca Targetti Alex Esposito was born in Bergamo, Italy, in 1975 and he’s considered one of the most interesting talents of his generation. During his career he collaborates with the world’s most important orchestra conductors (Claudio Abbado, Antonio Pappano, Myung-Whung Chung, Kent Nagano, Daniele Gatti, Fabio Biondi) and stage directors (such Peter Mussbach, Claus Guth, Graham Vick, Damiano Michieletto, Pieluigi Pizzi) and he’s a regular guest on the most prestigious stages of the world (Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Gran Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Wiener Staatsoper in Vienna, Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Royal Opera House in London, Teatro Real in Madrid, Opéra National de Paris, Salzburger Festspiele, Aix-en- Provence Festival and Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro). Sharp and outstanding Mozart interpreter, among his performances are to be remembered Leporello (Don Giovanni) at La Scala, Deutsche Oper Berlin and Bayerisches Staatsoper; Papageno (Die Zauberflöte) at la Scala first and then in Munich (he’s the first Italian singing the role in the original language at an international level); Figaro (Le nozze di Figaro) and Guglielmo (Così fan tutte). Alex Esposito Bass Alex, as a frequent guest of Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro, is a greatly acclaimed interpreter of Rossini’s roles, such as Fernando Villabella in La Gazza Ladra, Alidoro in La Cenerentola, Faraone in a Graham Vick’s particularly successful production of Mosè in Egitto, Mustafà in L’Italiana in Algeri. Among his recent engagements: his debut in Venice as Nick Shadow in The Rake’s Progress directed by Damiano Michieletto, Il Barbiere di Siviglia at Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro, La Cenerentola and Il Turco in Italia in Munich, Le nozze di Figaro in London and Theater an der Wien; Don Giovanni in Berlin, Munich, Venice, Tokyo and Genua, Die Zauberflöte in Venice, Munich and Bari, Anna Bolena in Bergamo, Les Contes d’Hoffmann in Stuttgart, Lucrezia Borgia and Semiramide in Munich, Faust in Toulouse, Le nozze di Figaro in Amsterdam Semiramide and Le nozze di Figaro in Munich; among future engagements L’elisir d’amore in London, La gazza ladra a Milano, La siège de Corinthe in Pesaro, La damnation de Faust in Rome.
