Gruppo Musica GRUPPO MUSICA Teatro alla Scala Stagione 2016/2017 E’ disponibile per tutti gli Associati Agoal un numero limitato di biglietti a prezzo particolarmente ridotto (meno della metà del prezzo al botteghino) per le seguenti rappresentazioni del Teatro alla Scala: Anna Bolena (opera) – Musica di Gaetano Donizetti – Dirige Ion Marin La gazza ladra (opera) – Musica di Gioachino Rossini – Dirige Riccardo Chailly Anna Bolena: Il progetto di riportare alla Scala il repertorio italiano nella sua interezza, inaugurato nel 2016 con il grande ritorno del Verismo rappresentato da La cena delle beffe di Giordano, prosegue nel 2017 con due titoli belcantistici: Anna Bolena di Donizetti e La gazza ladra di Rossini. In particolare di Donizetti il Teatro alla Scala aveva a oggi una sola produzione, L’elisir d’amore. L'impegnativa parte di Anna è affidata a Hibla Gerzmava e alla giovanissima Federica Lombardi che debutta in questo ruolo: con lei la Scala continua a investire sui talenti usciti dalla sua Accademia. Jane di Seymour avrà invece la voce di Sonia Ganassi. La gazza ladra: “Il successo fu talmente enorme, il lavoro suscitò un tale furore che ad ogni momento il pubblico in massa s’alzava in piedi per coprire Rossini d’acclamazioni”. Stendhal, spettatore della prima alla Scala nel 1817, descrive come “Rossini fu prima stanco di salutare che il pubblico d’applaudire”. Duecento anni dopo un rossiniano di rango come Riccardo Chailly riporta questa celeberrima opera semiseria sul palcoscenico dove ha visto la luce. Un capolavoro di grazia e brillantezza capace anche di descrivere senza perifrasi gli eccessi del potere. Per l’occasione debutta alla Scala Gabriele Salvatores: il regista, cofondatore del Teatro dell’Elfo e premio Oscar 1991 per “Mediterraneo”, torna al teatro per raccontare la storia della serva Ninetta, ingiustamente accusata di furto. Il cast raccoglie il meglio della nuova generazione del canto rossiniano: con Rosa Feola al debutto ascolteremo il tenore Edgardo Rocha, i bassi Alex Esposito e Paolo Bordogna oltre a Teresa Iervolino e al canto esperto di Michele Pertusi. Den Sommerurlaub verbrachte unser Boardmitglied Dr. Martin Knust auf einem Segeltörn in Schweden. Es läßt seine Bürger trotz Virusge- fahr – trotz erheblicher Kritik vieler Länder – frei handeln. In der Nähe Stockholms gibt es eine ausgedehnte Schärenlandschaft. Dr. Knust schil- dert neben der Landschaft mit vielen eindrucksvollen Seebildern auch den schwedischen Komponisten Hugo Alfvén, der kaum jemand der Leser- schaft bekannt seine dürfte, dessen Werke aber großen Hörgenuß berei- ten. Auch in Köln gab es die Oper Die Zauberfl öte ohne Kürzungen in der bewährten Regie von Michael Hampe, dessen unvergeßlicher Zeiten als Kölner Opernintendant von zwei Jahrzehnten 1975-1995 man sich in der jetzigen Theaterinstanz entsann und ihn zu dieser Inszenierung eingela- den hat. Die reduzierten Opernbesucher quittierten seine intelligente und gekonnte Leistung mit starkem Applaus. Die Sängerschar der Premiere, die ich am 3. Oktober 2020 besuchte, ist über die Maßen zu loben. Einer davon, der französische Tenor Julien Behr, war bereit, mir ein Interview zu gewähren, das Sie auf Seite 15 lesen können. Eine der Erscheinungen, die diese Zeiten hervorgebracht haben, ist die Entdeckung der Sächsischen Landschaft in Deutschland.

    New Productions of Aida, Die Zauberflöte, and Don Giovanni and Met Premieres of The Fiery Angel and Dead Man Walking Headline the Metropolitan Opera’s 2020–21 Season Opening Night features a new Aida, conducted by Yannick Nézet-Séguin and starring Anna Netrebko, Anita Rachvelishvili, and Piotr Beczała, in a new staging by Michael Mayer.     PRESS RELEASE Venice, 2 July 2019 2019-2020 Opera and Ballet Season and Symphony Season The 2019-2020 Opera and Ballet Season and Symphony Season of Fondazione Teatro La Fenice were presented Tuesday 2 July 2019 by the superintendent and artistic director Fortunato Ortombina, in the presence of the general director Andrea Erri, the artistic head of dance Franco Bolletta, the general director of Fondazione di Venezia Giovanni Dell’Olivo and the head of CTPS Direzione Regionale Veneto Friuli Giulia e Trentino Alto Adige Intesa Sanpaolo, Monica Cristanelli: since January 1, 2019 the group has been a supporting partner of the Venetian Opera House and has renewed its invaluable support of La Fenice’s Opera and Symphony Seasons. The 2019-2020 Opera and Ballet Season will open with Don Carlo: in continuation with the previous openings, Myung-Whun Chung will carry on with his interpretation of Verdi’s works. With direction by Robert Carsen, three interpreters will have their debut in the performance: Piero Pretti, Alex Esposito and Julian Kim. This will be followed by Pinocchio by the composer Pierangelo Valtinoni from Vicenza, one of the most frequently performed living composers worldwide, and the twentieth-century diptych A Hand of Bridge by Barber and Bluebeard’s Castle by Bartòk. In addition to the revivals of La traviata and Il trovatore, Verdi’s so-called ‘popular trilogy’ will be completed with the Italian première of a production of Rigoletto, with production by Damiano Michieletto. The programme continues with Vivaldi’s Farnace, conducted by Diego Fasolis. As regards the French repertory, Bizet’s Carmen will be revived, conducted by Myung- Whun Chung, with Varduhi Abrahamyan and Francesco Meli.
