Kristina Rodanas was the Artist-in-Residence at Billings Farm & Museum in 2019. New Draft Horse Team

Billings Farm welcomed a new, young team of Mennonite-trained draft horses from Ohio. Luke (6) and Lonnie (7) are full brother Percheron geldings and are a wonderful, visitor-friendly, and handsome addition to our draft horse program. 2019 REPORT 7

He noted that with the wide-ranging correspondence of Frederick Billings, the Billings Family Archives is among the nation’s most significant repositories documenting the history of the American West.

Moooo! NBC5 showcased Wassail at Billings Farm The Billings Farm & Museum brand is extending beyond our campus through sales of Moooo! A Billings Farm Alphabet Book. The rich illustrations by Kristina Rodanas, 2019 BF&M Artist-in-Residence and children’s book author A new instant children's classic and illustrator, capture the magic of our historic working dairy farm and set this book apart from other alphabet books. From A to Z, the illustrations are entirely of Billings Farm – from our Jersey cows and scenic landscapes to quilts and sap gathering. Closer to home, we enjoyed excellent print coverage of activities at the Farm & Museum from pieces in Country Living, Woodstock Magazine, Vermont Standard, and Valley News. Billings Farm & Museum staff were interviewed by regional CBS and NBC TV affiliates, and an on-site press conference with Vermont Governor Phil Scott received broad media coverage. To raise awareness and encourage visitation, BF&M staff completed a multi-faceted exhibit window at the Woodstock Inn & Resort.
