List of Masters Theses and Doctoral Dissertations Based on Research of Recent Cephalopoda 1870 Through 2015 Compiled by F.G. Hochberg and M.J. Sweeney 1 Introduction Among the cephalopod references that are difficult to find are the citations for M.Sc. theses and Ph.D. dissertations. Herein is a compiled, bibliographic list of Recent Cephalopoda references up to and including the year 2015. Bibliographic format: author and initials (first name if known), year degree awarded, title (in italics), title translation if non-English language [in brackets], degree, name of university, city, country (in caps) and number of pages (xx if unknown). For those titles written in a non-English language (and that did not include an English translation), Google Translation was used to translate the title. Diacritical marks such as ó, é, ç, ñ, etc are not used in order to facilitate word searches. We would like to acknowledge the assistance of Krystal Krueger (Quasar Program, SBMNH) and Jordan Rex. In addition we thank the following individuals who provided theses/dissertation references and comments for Mexico (Unai Markaida and Roxana de Silva- Davila), Brazil (Erica Vidal) and Russia (Chingis Nigmatullin and Alexander Arkhipkin). 2 Masters Theses and Ph.D. Dissertations Abe, Y. 2008.
