  • Content Ducati: an Investigation of the Space of Interface and the Design of User Experience
CONTENT DUCATI: AN INVESTIGATION OF THE SPACE OF INTERFACE AND THE DESIGN OF USER EXPERIENCE. A thesis submitted to Parsons School of Design, a division of the New School University, New York, in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Master of Fine Arts in Design and Technology. Melissa MacQuarrie May 2005 Thesis Faculty: Stephanie Owens, Anezka Sebek Writing Faculty: Barbara Morris Thesis advisor: Karen Sideman Additional advisors: Allen Jones, Dave kanter, Dave Carroll, Katie Salen, Colleen Macklin CONTENT DUCATI: AN INVESTIGATION OF THE SPACE OF INTERFACE AND THE DESIGN OF USER EXPERIENCE. ABSTRACT OF CONCEPT Content Ducati is a web project that investigates the space of interface and the design of user experience via careful analysis of target community needs, lifestyles and habits. The intent of the project is an attempt to bring something new to the table in terms of designing access to information on the web. The goal is developing a system that is intuitive and engaging, that responds to the identity of the user and compels the user to explore. The project uses analysis of Ducati riders as a tool for developing the user experience. It seeks to translate their identity; the affinity for design, their most common attribute. This system uses the design aesthetic of the Ducati motorcycle as a process for delivery of information, so as to provide users with an experience that is unique and engaging, inspiring and entertaining. The engine looks to the information hierarchy of the Ducati website version November 2004, as a base for compression of content. The material is compressed via analysis of target user needs, then repurposed.

Rennen! Races! Vitesse! Racing Circuits Netherlands Belgium Germany Austria Luxembourg Switzerland Rob Semmeling Rennen! Races! Vitesse! Page 2 Contents Foreword 3 Netherlands 5 Belgium 44 Germany 78 Austria 133 Luxembourg & Switzerland 148 Copyright © Rob Semmeling 2009-2016 / all rights reserved www.wegcircuits.nl Rennen! Races! Vitesse! Page 3 Foreword Motorsport essentially consists of three ingredients. First, you need a motor vehicle - which can be anything from a Formula 1 car to a lawn mower, or from a MotoGP motorcycle to a pocket bike. Second, you need a driver or rider to operate the vehicle, and finally, a place to go racing - a circuit. To most people this last ingredient is probably the least interesting. The number of books about famous racing drivers and cars, or great riders and their motorcycles, is far larger than the number of books about racing circuits. However, to me circuits are the most interesting aspect of motorsport, for two main reasons. First is their great diversity: in terms of shape, layout, length, difficulty, fame and many other factors, every circuit is different, and each has its own story to tell. Second, it is fascinating to see just how many circuits there are. Once you start looking, you can find them just about any- where. Finding lost circuits or discovering long-forgotten tracks is one of the most fun aspects of researching racing circuits. When looking for information about racing circuits online, I often found it frustrating that the available sources were not complete, and that they often lacked detail and accuracy. This is one of the reasons why I started my website www.wegcircuits.nl and why I made Rennen! Races! Vitesse! - a downloadable pdf-file that lists racing circuits of past and present in four European countries: the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Austria.

PRESS RELEASE MIES, 29/05/2020 FOR MORE INFORMATION : ISABELLE LARIVIÈRE COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER [email protected] TEL +41 22 950 95 68 MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship/ FIM Supersport and Supersport 300 World Championships UPDATE: 2020 WorldSBK season situation features positive prospects Progress is being made in order to have the World Superbike Championship restart under safe conditions this season. The 2020 MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship is working hard on resuming racing action for the remainder of the season, amidst the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The Championship started in fine style at Phillip Island and now, Dorna WSBK Organization would like to issue an update on the plans to get racing back underway, with the initial racing plan taking place in the month of August once permission is approved. The Circuito de Jerez – Angel Nieto should welcome the restart of the season on 31 July–2 August, before going to the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve in Portugal a week later on 7–9 August. The season should then follow our current provisional schedule, at the MotorLand Aragon venue on 28–30 August. The health of everybody is at the forefront of decision making and these rounds within the Iberian Peninsula are planned to be held behind closed doors, in-line with social distancing measures and medical guidelines set by the Spanish and Portuguese governments. Nevertheless, the situation is evolving, and we will adapt our protocols to the situation of the time. Furthermore, updates have been made to the following events: the British and Dutch Rounds held at Donington Park and TT Circuit Assen respectively, have been postponed.
