PRACTICAL INFORMATION FOR COP21 I. GENERAL INFORMATION The COP21 | CMP 11 will be held at the Exhibition Park - "Parc des Expositions", at 93350 Le Bourget, 15 kilometers northeast of the city of Paris, France. Paris has a very diverse mass transit system, from buses, subways known as METRO inside the city, taxi lines, and rail lines for the Paris region -known as RER-. The COP21 venue is outside the metropolitan area of Paris between the Charles de Gaulle airport and the city center, and there are 4 ways to get from the city and from the Charles de Gaulle airport (check if you are arriving at this airport or at the Orly Airport so you can take a bus or train from there). In the city of Paris, the a rival and departure point for COP21 facilities is the Gare du Nord railway station, located in the 10th district (arrondissement) so we recommend you find nearby lodging for ease of movement. II. SERVICES RESERVED FOR ACCREDITED PERSONS 2.1. COP21 Special lines In addition to public transport, several special COP21 bus lines are reserved only for accredited persons: • Connection between the site of Paris-Le Bourget and the hotel zone of Paris-Charles de Gaulle 24/24; • Connection between the venue and the center of Paris-Le Bourget Paris between 21h and 7am. Accreditation will be required for access to these services. Two brochures for download: general brochure with six lines (ICI) and a detailed report to the pink line (ICI) brochure. 2.1.1. Service connection to electric vehicles * 200 electric vehicles with drivers during COP21 will be available from November 29 to December11. This free service is available only for travel between the COP21headquarters and a list of hotels located in Paris and its suburbs. This is a shared service: cars leave when they have completed the number of passengers, to meet peak demands. Up to 14 trips can be reserved. You can book your trip now at: www.COP21evshuttle.com. Feel free to connect to check availability again. For questions about hotels not specified in the list, please visit the "Book of electric vehicles" offices located on the main avenue of the COP21 as from November30, or else, call the following telephone number: 33 (0) 1 76 85 85 31. * These vehicles are not suitable for transporting people with disabilities. 2.2. Navigo card (carte Navigo) A accredited persons will be given a card with Navigo COP21 unlimited access to all public transport (except Orlyval, Air France buses and tour buses), metro, train, RER, buses and trams in the Ile-de-France area (including Paris). Always validate the COP21 Navigo card (the expiry date will be displayed on the back) when used. Should there be any control, you must show your COP21 card and credential. 2. 3. Useful phone applications (APP) To help you on your journey (download the maps, get to know the routes and schedules), consult the following sites and applications: • ratp.fr and "RATP" available at App Store, Google Play, Windows Apps Store and Amazon applications. The news site COP21 and your engine will be integrated into current search paths in November. • Application "Visiter Paris Metro," available on the App Store, Google Play and Amazon Apps, which provides access to a multitude of services to easily use the metro in Paris and discover the most beautiful places in the capital. Device-specific information on the COP21 will be incorporated. • Vianavigo.com and "Vianavigo" application available on the App Store or Google Play to find a route. Specific information on COP21 will be incorporated into the device. 2.4. MEANS OF TRANSPORTATION To get to the Venue on public transport, it is necessary to use at least 2 means of transportation, so please calculate at least 1 hour for the trip: http://www.COP21.gouv.fr/venir/transports/ 3.1. Arriving with the RER "B" (regional train) or subway line 7 (city train) Small buses will be available from the Le Bourget station -RER line B- and from Fort d'Aubervilliers station -subway line7-. To access these 2 stations, you must: • From the airport of Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle * and the hotel zone of the airport: Take RER B (direction Robinson or Saint-Remy-les-Chevreuse) and get off at the Le Bourget train station (gare) and link to the bus stop (arrêt). • From the Gare du Nord: Take RER B (towards Charles-de-Gaulle airport 2 TGV or Mitry - Claye) and get off at the Le Bourget train station (gare) and link to the bus stop (arrêt). • From Orly Airport *: Take the bus connection (navette) Orlyval to Antony station of the RER B, then take RER B (towards Charles-de-Gaulle 2 TGV or Mitry - Claye) and get off at the Le Bourget train station (gare) and link to the bus stop (arrêt). • From Paris: Take RER B (towards Charles-de-Gaulle airport 2 TGV or Mitry - Claye), get off at the Le Bourget train station (gare) and link to the bus stop (arrêt); or take the metro line 7 (towards La Courneuve - 8 Mai 1945), get off at the station Fort d'Aubervilliers. If you want to get straight to the Bourget venue from the station (gare) or the airport: Please note that to be accepted within the premises of the COP21 your luggage should have a maximum size of 55x35x25cm (type hand luggage on the plane ). Luggage and / or large baggage will not be accepted, no luggage storage sites are available on site. Bus connection will be available to all to ensure the permanent connection between the two senses: • The Le Bourget station RER line B and the COP21venue. All trains stop at the Le Bourget station during the time of the COP21 and then link to the bus stop (arrêt). • The Fort d'Aubervilliers station - subway line 7 and the COP21venue. • Bus connection operation dates and times: • On November 28-29 from 7:00 am to 21 pm, • From November 30 to December 14 from 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. (on December 14, the service will end at 5pm). It is also possible to walk from the station (gare) RER B Bourget. On-foot journey takes about 25 minutes. 3.2. Arriving by Bus: We recommend using the COP21 shuttle (bus connection) to secure and facilitate travel. However, please note that there are regular bus lines that serve this area: Bus No. 152, (bus station) arrêt "Michelet-Parc des Expositions Bus No. 350, (bus station) arrêt "Michelet-Parc des Expositions Bus No. 133, (bus station) arrêt "The Comet Noctilien n ° 42 leaving from (bus station) arrêt "Le Bourget 3.3. Arriving by car or taxi: If you would like to reach the venue by car, access is by the (roadway) autoroute A86, and A3 but parking is not guaranteed and there is a very high probability of traffic jams in the ring around the city (le périphérique).
