Hongkong Land unveils BaseHall, its new premium food hall concept at , set to revolutionise the F&B experience in the heart of Central

HONG KONG, 15th June 2020 – today celebrated the official opening of BaseHall, a first-of-its-kind food hall concept on the basement level of Jardine House. This latest development underscores Hongkong Land’s continuous commitment to enhance the value of its portfolio, and also champions EATO ethos – the contemporary culinary concept bringing together the best of Kong’s vibrant, world-class F&B scene, all at LANDMARK.

BaseHall is an elevated food hall experience that aims to champion Hong Kong’s exceptional food culture, incubate homegrown talent and provide its patrons with the best of the city’s buzzing culinary scene - under one roof, from lunch through to dinner and beyond. Housing eight food outlets and two bars, all celebrated names in Hong Kong’s culinary landscape chosen for their creative concepts, innovative approaches and outstanding offerings, vendors will rotate on a regular basis. To accommodate the demand for the finest flavours alongside the ultimate in convenience and comfort for Central’s working community and shoppers, BaseHall is thoughtfully designed and injected with entertainment to create a uniquely fun and dynamic atmosphere for visitors to unwind, recharge and mingle. and pick-up experiences through its cashless Point of Sales system and the CENTRICITY App exclusive to Hongkong Land’s tenants.

The abundant array of offerings includes Roti Tori’s Japanese-inspired rotisserie chicken, hearty plant-based offerings by Treehouse, contemporary nasi lemak at Return of Lemak and decadent treats brought by Cookie Dpt. Pub 1842 from Young Master and BaseHall Bar also serve up local craft beer, worldly wines and Asian-inspired cocktails.

Hongkong Land continues its firm commitment to sustainability at BaseHall, exemplified through the use of compostable food packaging and cutlery and the placement of water fountains and waste decomposers, as well as the addition of upcycled design elements throughout. BaseHall is also partnering with a food assistance programme to distribute leftover food to worthwhile causes across the city.

In addition to BaseHall, the Group successfully launched CENTRICITY, a suite of market leading digital and physical services exclusively available to the Group’s tenants in Hong Kong in October 2019. Core elements include a mobile app which provides tenants with access to promotions, events and concierge services, a flexible event space and a restaurant providing both on-the-go meals and a formal dining service. The Group also launched a new 5,000 sq. ft salon which provides its BESPOKE loyalty programme members with personalised experiences and services.
