Periods of moderate to heavy rain falling across the Carolinas as Alberto nears the Gulf Coast. Alberto will track north moving on shore along the Florida Panhandle today. A widespread area of 2 to 4 inches of rain is expected across much of our forecast area. Locally higher amounts possible, especially today and Tuesday. The Excessive Rainfall Outlook has included the entire forecast area in a slight risk for excessive rainfall.
