Carrie: A Short Visual Novel

Wednesday, November 5, 14 Our story begins with Carrie White in the girls locker at Ewen High school. She is often outcast by the other girls for her unbeautiful features and overlyText religious family. Though what people do not know is that Carrie has the ability of Telekinesis.
Wednesday, November 5, 14 On this day things are starting off strange since, she got her period that day and come to find out this is her first Textperiod ever, at the age of 17.
Wednesday, November 5, 14 The concept of getting a period confuses Carrie and she believes that she is dying from the lose of blood. The other girls in theText locker room tease her telling her and tell her to “plug it up” in Carrie’s confusion, except for one person, Susan Snell.
Wednesday, November 5, 14 Carrie, after the predicament in the locker room, is told to go home. Though when she gets there she is not met with the loving armsText of a worried mother, but instead the the forceful chastisement of an obsessed Christian. For having a period she is punished harshly.
Wednesday, November 5, 14 Carrie is forced into a closet and not allowed out for an hour, which from her own narration explains that the time spent in their was remarkably short compared to otherText times.
Though, in this sad existence Carrie lives through perhaps their is a silver lining.
Wednesday, November 5, 14 Sue at the pressure of her own conscious instructs her boyfriend to take Carrie to the prom to make her feelText accepted.
Although Carrie was skeptical at first she eventually gives in and is going to the prom.
Wednesday, November 5, 14 Of course, Carrie’s mother was less than accepting of her being taken out, she instructs Carrie to the closet and pray insteadText of going to the Prom.
Wednesday, November 5, 14 After of course slapping her.
Wednesday, November 5, 14 Carrie responds with telekinetic push which frighteningText her mother.
Wednesday, November 5, 14 Still even with her mother debacle it appeared that it was going to to a good night at the prom. She had a beautiful dress, a handsome date, and Carrie was even named Prom queen (Though she had not entered).
