In response to a salary increase for incoming San Diego State University administrator last July, Gov. Five Cal State Fullerton Titan pitchers combined for 10 strikeouts and allowed three hits on their way to a 3-0 shutout over San Diego State on a chilly Tuesday night. Starting junior pitcher Dave Birosak pitched the first inning and threw only 11 pitches. Dimitri DeLaFuente, Tyler Peitzmeier, Willie Kuhl and Michael Lorenzen all followed for a solid pitching effort.
