MDNA every day!By Braden PickeringAfter missing out on last year's poorly distributed Madonna calendar, I was really glad to snatch this one up early. I figured with a new album and current tour, the 2013 calendar would be more readily available, and it doesn't disappoint.First of all, the pictures are great. They are all new shots from the MDNA era and not another lazy "retrospective" hodgepodge like we've seen in recent years. Drawn from just one or two photo shoots many of them are similar in style to one another, but there's still enough variety to keep it interesting month to month, and very few, if any, are unflattering or distasteful. (I still cringe thinking about the ghastly Hard Candy phase, lol.) A still shot or two from the or Turn Up the Radio videos would have been welcome, but it's not a huge deal and I'm just grateful we're getting something new at all.I should mention however that Madonna calendars are never designed to really function as calendars so much as mini posters, and the trend continues here. The dates are squeezed into a 3-inch bar along the bottom almost as an afterthought and follow the format of "S01 M02 T03 W04" etc, which can make even a quick glance a bit of a chore. It doesn't really bother me because I've come to expect as much, but those who like to write in their own notes may need an alternate plan. Otherwise, it's a pretty sharp looking calendar any fan should be glad to have hanging on their wall - plus it's 16 month, so it's ready to use right away.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. This Whole Calendar Celebrates Madonna's Kick Butt 2012 Studio Album MDNA. So I'm Sure Thinking That The Official 2014 Madonna Calendar Would Celebrate The MDNA Tour.
