The use of this Parts Catalog and the arrangement of information therein is explained in the General Information Section, 1964 PASSENGER CAR MODEL CODES Throughout this catalog "Model Codes" are wed where it is necessary to clarify the model application of listed part numbers. It should be noted the cubic inch displacement of all engines except the 300K 413 cubic inch engine can be determined from the identification number. The last numerals of the identification numbers of all engines except the 318 cubic inch engine indicate the month and day the engine was built (examples on the chart assume a production date of August 1.) The "318" engine identification number concludes with a serial sequence number.
