1. PUBLICATIONS IN THE YEAR 2013 – in the order of their publication date, starting with the most recent one

I. TRANSSYLVANIA NOSTRA JOURNAL (YEAR VII / Issue 28) Issue 4/2013 of Transsylvania Nostra Journal shall comprise articles based on different speciality domains. The journal contains articles on heating of historic churches, the conservation of the Gresham Palace in Budapest, the Károlyi Castle Park in Carei and exceptional historic load-bearing structures. Moreover, articles were published about the significance of the Romanian NGOs in the field of heritage protection, about the new life of a superfluous central office, and you can read a report about the vernisage of the “ Hidden ” Heritage exposition, presented in 2013 at Miskolc. The issue was published in cooperation with the Transsylvania Nostra Foundation and with the financial support of the National Cultural Fund of Hungary and Communitas Foundation. II. THE VOLUME OF THE CONFERENCE SERIES ON THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL ISSUES ON BUILT HERITAGE CONSERVATION – TUSNAD 2013 – CONTEMPORARY CONVENIENCES IN HISTORIC BUILDINGS (PRINTED VERSION) The volume includes the abstracts of the 16 th edition of the Conference Series on Theoretical and Practical Issues on Built Heritage Conservation – TUSNAD 2013 and the summary of the study field trip to Şieu, Domneşti, Ţigău, Arcalia, Beclean and to Năsăud where the participants visited several historic buildings which are significant related to the topic of the 16 th edition. The event with the subject of Contemporary Conveniences in Historic Buildings was held in Bistriţa. This town is an important historic centre of , here stands one of the monumental symbols of the region, namely the Lutheran Church in the Main Square, considered an inestimable value of art and architecture history. This symbol of the town was the subject of a simultaneous cultural project held in August, 2013, namely the celebration of 450 years from the consecration of it. THE VOLUME OF THE CONFERENCE SERIES ON THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL ISSUES ON BUILT HERITAGE CONSERVATION – TUSNAD 2013 – CONTEMPORARY CONVENIENCES IN HISTORIC BUILDINGS (ELECTRONIC VERSION – CD) The volume includes the text material of the 16 th edition of the Conference Series on Theoretical and Practical Issues on Built Heritage Conservation – TUSNAD 2013, namely the lectures in their original language and the abstracts in Romanian, Hungarian, English languages. IV. TRANSSYLVANIA NOSTRA JOURNAL (YEAR VII / Issue 27) In the third issue from 2013 of the Transsylvania Nostra Journal, one may read articles on Contemporary Conveniences in Historic Buildings, the topic of the 16 th edition of the Conference Series – TUSNAD 2013. Beside these articles, the journal contains a study about the Károlyi Castle Park in Carei, and one about contemporary interventions in attic spaces. The publication was issued in cooperation with the Transsylvania Nostra Foundation and with the financial support of the National Cultural Fund of Hungary and the Order of Architects in Romania. V. TRANSSYLVANIA NOSTRA JOURNAL (YEAR VII / Issue 26) The most voluminous article of the Transsylvania Nostra Journal no. 2 presents dendrochronological analyses and architectural history observations on the Unitarian Church ensemble in Dârjiu, Harghita County. The following articles continue the series already started formerly. One of them is about the park of the Béldy Ladislau Manor House in Budila, Braşov County, as well as the next one presents structural strengthening modalities in case of historic buildings. The publication was issued in cooperation with the Transsylvania Nostra Foundation and with the financial support of the National Cultural Fund of Hungary. VI. TRANSSYLVANIA NOSTRA JOURNAL (YEAR VII / Issue 25) The first issue of the Transsylvania Nostra Journal from 2013 continues the series dedicated to the Transylvanian historical gardens and starts also a new heading which presents historic roof structures in Europe. Moreover, the journal contains an article about the conservation of the Communal Hall in Aita Mare, County and we can enjoy also the presentation of the research and the restoration works of the mural paintings in the Calvinist Church in Mugeni, during the conservation works. At last but not at least we can read about the importance of the framework convention of the Council of Europe on the Value of Cultural Heritage for Society. The publication was issued in cooperation with the Transsylvania Nostra Foundation and with the financial support of the National Cultural Fund of Hungary.
