Campbellthe only person other than the Earl and Road Kamelot at the time who could control the Ark, damaged the control systems of the Old Ark, rendering it useless to the Noah Family and passing on his ability to control the Ark to a new person, Allen Walker. There are now two Arks. Although anyone in the Order can walk into it, only Allen can create Gates at will and step into the Ark wherever he wishes. This downloading was mostly the effort of Road, though the Earl played an organ instrumental to it new Ark's completion in the final stages. It seems that this ark can be used by other members of the Noah family besides the earl, Road and Nea. D. Gray-Man: No.14: Song of the Ark he betrayed the Noah, though, Nea passed on his ability to control the Ark to Allen, also making it impossible for the Earl and Road to control it. From there, walking through another door that connects to an established Gate teleports the person walking through to wherever the Gate was opened at, no matter how far away it is from the previous Gate's location. Access to the Gates from the outside world can be controlled by anyone using the corresponding doors within the Ark, with established Ark Gates capable of being activated and deactivated D. We rely on reflections by the teacher educator who authored the written case and later depicted it as a storyboard to use it with his preservice teachers (PSTs). The analysis involved, first, organizing the signifiers in each of the two representations of practice into what we call concentric spheres of stratification, and secondly, contrasting the various meanings attributed to signifiers by both the author and his PSTs. We suggest that the resources of storyboard allow for more inquiry and alternative narratives than is available from the single modality of text in the written case. Keywords: Equity and Diversity, Teacher Education-Preservice, Technology Introduction Motivated by the increasing use of multimodal representations of practice (e.g., video, animations, storyboards) in mathematics teacher education, we discuss affordances and constraints of such media and propose a framework for analyzing them. How it’s affecting our community, economy and other nations around the world has taken over every news station and permeated every home. While schools have been canceled, some businesses close, films and television have been put on hiatus and quarantines are being instated; it’s a lot to take in. Maybe the way the media and internet has framed the pandemic is also part of the problem, undermining the mostly high survival rate, favoring to talk about how contagious the virus is. Being a senior in high school puts my peers and me in between two groups: the adults, and the young kids. While we aren’t fully fledged members of the community, still finishing up our secondary education, we are being affected on a different level than younger students. They are also out on a vacation of sorts and will eventually have to take online courses like us, but taking into context all the things the Class of 2020 could be missing that most senior classes have brings it into a different perspective. Not only are our regular studies being affected, but things from senior projects (or senior experience depending on what you do and where you go to school), proms, athletics, clubs and maybe even walking the stage at graduation are being straight up canceled or put into question.

Kellner, Chair Since the early 1970s, an important but under-examined subgenre of Made-for-Television Movies have foregrounded critical LGBT concerns, including coming out, parental custody, HIV/AIDS, gays in the military, and hate crimes or featured affirmative LGBT representations. These programs, often highly-rated and critically-acclaimed, were nonetheless sites of political contestation from social conservatives and LGBT activists. Through the lenses of critical media pedagogy, critical cultural studies, and critical media industries studies, this dissertation conducts a critical cultural history of LGBT TV movies. This history includes critical case studies of twenty seminal LGBT programs featuring original interviews with the producers, executives, and writers responsible for their pedagogical design. The evidence reflects how these programs helped frame these concerns, educate audiences, and advocate on behalf of the LGBT community.     Jason Mittell Lost in a Great Story: Evaluation in Narrative Television (and Television Studies) Lost is a great television programme. Such a statement should be almost self-evident in a book dedicating hundreds of pages to exploring and analyzing a television programme. Lost’s numerous successes, in generating a worldwide fan base, spawning a multimedia franchise, and accumulating awards and critical accolades, should all point toward a consensus opinion about the show’s quality and value. If you’re a fan of the show, you almost certainly agree, as perceived greatness is a common, if not essential, rationale for fandom. But for the readers and writers within this book’s core genre of television studies, such an explicit assertion of evaluation and praise probably seems out of place, as evaluation is generally off-limits for television academics. For a typical instance, the preface to Jeremy Butler’s Television, probably the most in-depth overview of American television textuality, dismisses questions of evaluation in a few sentences: Television does not attempt to teach taste or aesthetics. It is less concerned with evaluation than with interpretation. It resists asking, ‘Is The O.C. great art?’ Instead, it poses the question, ‘What meanings does The O.C. signify and how does it do so?’1 Such distinctions between evaluating television programming and interpreting the processes of meaning-making frame virtually the entire field—we media scholars are heavily invested in understanding how meaning is made, conveyed, and consumed, but bracket off questions of evaluation as outside the scope of our expertise. It is not as if we completely avoid the act of judging in our scholarship, as we regularly evaluate television programmes on their political merits, their social relevance, their economic motives, their impacts on the television industry, or even their appeals to popular tastes.
