Parramatta District Cricket Club
Parramatta District Cricket Club is NSW's oldest living cricket club and one of the oldest in Australia. Parramatta played its first recorded inter district match vs Liverpool on 11 September 1843.
The Club was already 50 years old when it joined the inaugural Sydney Grade Competition in 1893 as a foundation member. Since then it has won 3 first grade Premierships and numerous lower grade competitions. The Club has played matches in Parramatta Park since 1862.
Grade Cricket is the elite level of district cricket. It provides the pathway to representative cricket and in particular the pathway to Bob Simpson, Richie Benaud represent NSW and Australia, following in the footsteps of our past and Doug Walters at the Parramatta greats such as Richie Benaud, John Benaud, Doug 2010 Sporting Legends Walters and Greg Matthews. Our home ground is Old Kings Oval in the historic Parramatta Park. The Club is seeking Sponsors with similar values in wanting to develop the youth of the area by providing opportunities to develop their skills with good coaching and facilities to realise their potential to reach the highest possible standard.
Funds raised go to the development of cricket in the Parramatta area. Businesses can be involved in the Club by taking up one of the following Sponsorship packages for the current season with the associated benefits:
