Our School Motto and

Motto Our School Motto, Labora Ut Requiescas, was chosen by Reverend Joseph Henry Davies, the Founder of Caulfield Grammar School and First Headmaster 1881-1888. Crest The shield badge shows an open book representing the Bible. Surrounding is the Belt of Knowledge with seven stars representing the seven liberal arts and seven liberal virtues. The Motto, Labora Ut Requiescas, is written inside the shield. Above the shield is a , a heraldic twist of cloth wreath separating and giving prominence to the star.
