The death of a loved one is a major life event that can impact individuals and families in many and varied ways. The grief that results from a loss is unique to each individual and carries with it no timetable or ‘how to’ manual. For centuries, flowers have been used to express sympathy, honor and love, in memory of those who have gone before us.

Your assistance is needed to help us continue to provide a reverent, beautiful and peaceful environment for all our families who visit our cemeteries and mausoleums.

 Flower policy: Fresh flowers are not permitted. Only artificial flowers are allowed and must be placed in an approved vase unit  For your safety, please do not move or stand on furniture  For continued safety of ALL visitors, please do not place glass vases or statuary items along walkway or any areas of any mausoleum or cremation columbaria  Please refrain from the placing balloons  Any ornaments or decorations that are taped, glued or velcroed to the niche or crypt fronts will be removed without notice These items damage the niche/crypt fronts. Niche or Crypt front damage is the responsibility of the niche/crypt owner  The Cemetery, without notice to the owner, reserves the right to remove and dispose of any decoration from a niche or crypt that, in management’s judgment, is inappropriate  All Mausoleum Crypt and Cremation Niche Memorial Plaques, Cameo Picture Portraits, bronze emblems and floral vases, must be ordered at the Cemetery office  All lettering will be one designated style and size for a uniform appearance Lettering, Crypt or Niche plates will be made of bronze and be installed permanently on all fronts by cemetery personal  The Catholic Cemeteries of the Diocese of Joliet reserves the right to make any and all changes regarding inscriptions and emblems for future embellishment of the present Mausoleum or any new Mausoleum that may be constructed at a future date  Catholic Cemeteries are holy places. Please do not disturb any decorations of others as they hold a special meaning to them and their family whose loved ones are remembered here. Please maintain a quite reverence and respect for other families visiting our sacred grounds

The Catholic Cemeteries of the Diocese of Joliet is not responsible for items that are missing or stolen. Please be advised not to place any items of sentimental value.
