PRESS RELEASE LOS ANGELES - The 2012 Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival is proud to screen the American premiere of Uwe Boll’s new film, Bailout: The Age of Greed. The 9th Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival (HRIFF) returns to the New Beverly Cinema in December 2012, to screen their most extensive and ambitious program to date. Over 70 films will be featured, including the U.S. Premiere of Uwe Boll’s Bailout: The Age of Greed. Bailout: The Age of Greed is a thriller that looks at the effects of Wall Street’s 2008 financial crisis on an average American pushed to the brink when he loses his savings and decides to take revenge. Inspired by movies like Taxi Driver and Falling Down, this film continues Uwe Boll's evolution from helming video game franchises (BloodRayne and ) and achieving fame for challenging (and fighting) his harshest film critics in boxing matches to being an auteur of bizarre comedies and innovative thrillers like Postal, Rampage and Darfur. Bailout stars Dominic Purcell, Edward Furlong, Erin Karpluk, John Heard, Keith David, Michael Pare, , Natassia Malthe, Michael Eklund and Eric Roberts. Q&A with director, Uwe Boll, and the entire cast and crew of Bailout will follow the American premiere at HRIFF 2012.
