6.3.5. Register notes - SF April 2015 E-mail: [email protected] Facebook: www.facebook.com/groups/MG635Register Twitter: https://twitter.com/635register Welcome to the 635 Register newsletter this month! For the newest of the MG marque, we have been steadily building a following of new owners some of which are existing MG owners and others new to the marque who are extremely impressed by the great value for money these cars are offering. Sales of the MG3 continue to steadily increase with more being seen on the road. So far in 2015, there have been 198 cars registered, which is an increase of 13 over last year. The MG6 facelift is being eagerly awaited and we hope to see a big advertising campaign to promote one of the best kept secrets in the automotive industry to the wider general public. There has certainly been a lot more TV advertising since Christmas, which is great. There has been a flurry of activity with the new 15 plate registrations at the beginning of March. Its great to see so many new owners photographed picking up their cars on the Facebook pages from the sales centre in Longbridge and dealers all around the country. There also seems to be a very noticeable increase in younger owners, which is great for the future of MG. Telford MG has opened a £1-million new showroom in the heart of the town’s ‘motor alley’ and sold a new MG33STYLE to a delighted 21-year-old Alix Lye on the opening day.

Triple Eight Race Engineering designs, builds and races Vauxhalls on behalf of the UK arm of General Motors (GM). Lawrence and his team are responsible for designing cars that race in the British touring Car Championship (BTCC). In the past, very little simulation was performed. Instead, components were physically manufactured and run on race cars during costly test sessions to evaluate their reliability and optimize their design. Challenge the car out of the race. At the same time, minimizing the weight of the suspension system is critical to vehicle performance. 2007 saw the start of a new era for the BTCC as the series adopted the S2000 regulations that are used in the World Touring Car Championship. Media Contact: FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE JoAnne L. Catlin (517) 664-1137 x26 [email protected] HEEDS MDO Optimization with VI-Motorsport Simulation Produces Early Success for Triple Eight Racing Team MG KX Momentum Racing Team car wins during first weekend of British Touring Car Championship East Lansing, MI (April 24, 2012) – Red Cedar Technology and its UK distributor, Zouch Dynamics Ltd., announced today that their technology partnership has helped Triple Eight Race Engineering and the MG KX Momentum Racing team achieve a first place race finish during the inaugural weekend of the 2012 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) season. Zouch Dynamics used VI-Motorsport vehicle simulation software (developed by VI-grade) to create an accurate model of the MG6 BTCC car, which could be used to predict the vehicle dynamics of the actual MG6. This model was then used in conjunction with HEEDS®MDO design optimization software to evaluate the performance of the MG6 BTCC car and find the setup that gave the shortest lap time. This setup helped MG KX Momentum driver, Jason Plato, place fourth and third in early races, and then finish first in the final race of the weekend. About the collaboration, David Ewbank of Zouch Dynamics said, “One of the reasons the car has been so fast, so quickly and with such limited testing (only five days) is the setup direction the team received from the HEEDS/VI-Motorsport optimization. The team implemented the optimized setup for the second race, which improved the car’s balance considerably, resulting
