All three contests will feature NC Fusion and will be the first soccer matches at Truist Point beyond the youth league level. NC Fusion will host the North Carolina Football Club on Saturday, May 22; Virginia Beach United on Saturday, June 12, and West Virginia Alliance on Wednesday, July 7. All three matches will start at 7:30 p.m. In addition, a preliminary match will precede the first two contests. Correa hit a three-run home run in the bottom of the sixth to give Milwaukee a 19-0 lead, and tied an American Association single-game record with nine RBI. Kyle Martin drove in the Goldeyes’ lone run with an RBI single in the top of the eighth. Jorge Gonzalez started for the Goldeyes and took the loss, allowing nine earned runs on eight hits in 1.1 innings.
