Milwaukee evened the score in the bottom of the third on a solo home run from Cole Sturgeon, and retook the lead at 6-5 in the fourth on a Brett Vertigan sacrifice fly. The Goldeyes went in front 7-6 in the top of the eighth on a two-out, two-run home run from Tyler Hill. Correa tied the game in the bottom of the eighth with an RBI single. The Goldeyes took their third lead in the top of the ninth on an RBI double from Raul Navarro.
