On 25 April 2013, Mohammed was named as Kenya's Cabinet Secretary for Industrialization, one of 18 Cabinet Secretary nominees to the new Uhuru Kenyatta administration. He was later sworn into office on 15 May 2013. Adan worked for Barclays Bank for over 15 years in different parts of the world. He was the CEO of Barclays Kenya for a period of 10 years that saw the Bank grow from strength to strength. Prior to Barclays, he worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers for a period of 7 years in London where he trained as a Chartered Accountant. He is an MBA graduate of

Sicily Kanini Kariuki is a Kenyan politician who has been serving as the Cabinet Secretary for Water, Sanitation and Irrigation, since 20 January 2020. She previously served as the Cabinet Secretary for Health. Previously, she was the Cabinet Secretary for Public Service, Youth and Gender Affairs, from December 2015 until January 2018. Kariuki enjoyed a wide-ranging career in the business world, Mrs. Sicily K.

Hon. Peter Gatirau Munya is the Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Cooperative (Kenya). He took over the ministry on 14th January 2020. Ambassador , DPhil, CBS, is the Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Defence. She has been the Cabinet Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade since 16 February 2018. Previously, she held the position of Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from January 12, 2016. Prior to this, she was the Principal Secretary at the Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government.

Cabinet Secretary Ministry of Environment & Forestry

Mr. Keriako Tobiko is the Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Environment and Forestry. He was appointed by H.E the President to replace Prof. Judi Wakhungu in the last cabinet reshuffle that was done in January, 2018. Before his appointment, Tobiko was the Director of Public Prosecutions, the first holder of the office under the Mr. Keriako 2010 having been first appointed in Tobiko, EGH 2005. He was re-designated as the Chief Public Prosecutor in August 2010 and appointed to head the independent constitutional office in June 2011.

He is an advocate of the of Kenya and formerly a lecturer at the University of Nairobi. Mr. Tobiko is an alumnus of the University of Nairobi and Cambridge University. Cabinet Secretary Ministry of Education

Professor George Albert Omore Magoha is a Kenyan consultant surgeon, academic, academic administrator and technocrat, who serves as the Cabinet Secretary of Education in the , effective 26 March 2019. Immediately before his current assignment, he was the chairman of the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC), from 2016 until 2019.

He has previously served as the Vice Chancellor of the University of Nairobi from 2005 until 2015. He is a Professor of Surgery at the University of Nairobi's College of Health Sciences. Prof. George A.O. Magoha, EGH Cabinet Secretary Ministry of Health

The Cabinet Secretary, Hon. Betty C. Maina, CBS had served as the Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, State Department for industrialization, and State Department of East African Affairs. Principal Secretary the National Treasury & Ministry of Planning

Dr. Julius Muia is the Principal Secretary at The National Treasury. Prior to this, he was the Principal Secretary at the State Department for Planning – The National Treasury and Planning. Before his appointment as PS Planning, he was the Director General, Vision 2030 Delivery Secretariat which operated under the Office of the President, Republic of Kenya to facilitate the implementation of Vision 2030. This is Kenya’s long-term policy framework that is premised on making Kenya a globally competitive, rapidly industrializing and upper middle-income economy by 2030. Mr Saitoti Torome is the former Director for Strategy and Development at the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS). Prior to this new assignment, Dr. Kiptoo was the immediate Principal Secretary, State Department for Trade in the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Cooperatives. Mrs. Karigithu is currently the Principal Secretary, State Department for Shipping and Maritime in the Ministry of Transport, Infrastructure, Housing, Urban Development and Public Works. Before her present appointment, Mrs. Karigithu was working as a short-term legal expert for the European Union (EU) project Critical Maritime Routes, aimed at enhancing Maritime situational awareness in the Indian Ocean.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in law from the University of Nairobi and a master’s degree in International Maritime law from the IMO International Maritime Law Institute, Malta. Ms. Josephta O. Mukobe holds a MSc. from Manchester University (UK) and a BA (Hons) Humanities and Social Science from the University of Nairobi. Ms. Josephta Mukobe has a public service career spanning for over twenty-five years. Prof. Ntiba holds a BSc in Biological Sciences and a master’s degree in Hydrobiology from the University of Nairobi, He went on to receive his PhD in Fisheries Biology from the University of East Anglia in the United Kingdom, was Director of the School of Biological Sciences at the University of Nairobi and held various positions at the Department of Zoology. Mr. Julius Korir is the Principal Secretary, State Department for Youth. He previously served in the State Department of Infrastructure in the Ministry of Transport, Infrastructure, Housing, Urban Development and Public Works having been appointed in February, 2018. Prior to this appointment, he served as the Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Health and as Principal Secretary State Department of Investment and Industry in the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Cooperatives, having been appointed on 18th December, 2015.
