Dr. Fred Okengo Matiang'i is the current Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Security in Kenya. He assumed office on 7 July 2017 on acting capacity after the sudden Demise of Gen Joseph ole Nkaissery. He took up the full position of Cabinet Secretary for Internal Security and Coordination of National Government after being appointed by President Uhuru Kenyatta in January 2018 in the president's second comprehensive cabinet appointments. On the 22nd of January 2019, President Uhuru Kenyatta, through Executive Order Number 1 of 2019, appointed him chairperson of the National Development Implementation and Communication Cabinet Dr. Fred Okengo Committee. James Wainaina Macharia is the Cabinet Secretary in the ministry of Transport and Infrastructure. He is the former Cabinet Secretary of Health. He attended Kagumo High School, Nyeri for his ‘O’ and ‘A’ level. He later joined the University of Nairobi where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce. Cabinet Secretary Ministry of East African Community & Regional Development
On 25 April 2013, Mohammed was named as Kenya's Cabinet Secretary for Industrialization, one of 18 Cabinet Secretary nominees to the new Uhuru Kenyatta administration. He was later sworn into office on 15 May 2013. Adan worked for Barclays Bank for over 15 years in different parts of the world. He was the CEO of Barclays Kenya for a period of 10 years that saw the Bank grow from strength to strength. Prior to Barclays, he worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers for a period of 7 years in London where he trained as a Chartered Accountant. He is an MBA graduate of

Cabinet Secretary Ministry of Water & Sanitation and Irrigation
Sicily Kanini Kariuki is a Kenyan politician who has been serving as the Cabinet Secretary for Water, Sanitation and Irrigation, since 20 January 2020. She previously served as the Cabinet Secretary for Health. Previously, she was the Cabinet Secretary for Public Service, Youth and Gender Affairs, from December 2015 until January 2018. Kariuki enjoyed a wide-ranging career in the business world, Mrs. Sicily K.
Kariuki, EGH including as an officer of the Kenya Investment Authority, and as Chief Executive Officer of Fresh Produce Exporters Association of Kenya. Sicily then served as the Managing Director and CEO of "Tea Board of Kenya". In 2012, while at the helm of the tea board in 2012. Eugene Ludovic Wamalwa is a Kenyan politician who is the Cabinet Secretary of the Ministry of Devolution and ASALs, an expansion of the former Ministry of Devolution. Hon. Peter Gatirau Munya is the Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Cooperative (Kenya). He took over the ministry on 14th January 2020. This is after he was transferred from the Ministry of Trade and Industrialization. He also served in the same capacity in the ministry of East African Community and Northern Corridor Development. He is a politician who served as the first Governor of Meru County, and as Hon. Peter Munya, the second Chairman of the Council of Governors. Ambassador Monica Juma, DPhil, CBS, is the Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Defence. She has been the Cabinet Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade since 16 February 2018. Previously, she held the position of Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from January 12, 2016. Prior to this, she was the Principal Secretary at the Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government.
Formerly, she served as Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Defence. Dr. Juma has served as Ambassador ExtraOrdinary and Plenipotentiary to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, the Republic of Djibouti and Permanent Representative of Kenya to the African Union, InterGovernment Authority on Development (IGAD) and United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), based out of Addis Ababa. Simon Kiprono Chelugui is the current Cabinet Secretary for Labour and Social Protection following his recent appointment in January 2020. Prior to this, he served as the Cabinet |Secretary Water. Simon holds a Master’s Degree (Msc) in Finance, Investment & Strategic Management and Bachelors of Commerce (Management Science Option) Degree from the University of Nairobi, Kenya. He has also been extensively trained in Corporate Governance. Cabinet Secretary Ministry of Environment & Forestry
Mr. Keriako Tobiko is the Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Environment and Forestry. He was appointed by H.E the President to replace Prof. Judi Wakhungu in the last cabinet reshuffle that was done in January, 2018. Before his appointment, Tobiko was the Director of Public Prosecutions, the first holder of the office under the Mr. Keriako Constitution of Kenya 2010 having been first appointed in Tobiko, EGH 2005. He was re-designated as the Chief Public Prosecutor in August 2010 and appointed to head the independent constitutional office in June 2011.
He is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya and formerly a lecturer at the University of Nairobi. Mr. Tobiko is an alumnus of the University of Nairobi and Cambridge University. He is the winner of GadhiSmarak Award for Best “A” Level student 1984 (Kenya), Barclays Cambridge Commonwealth Scholarship, 1990 for Kenya and Pegasus Cambridge Scholarship, 1990 as well as Fellow of Cambridge Commonwealth Society (FCCS). Farida Karoney is a Kenyan who was nominated by President Uhuru Kenyatta as Cabinet Secretary for Lands, on 26 January 2018. Immediately prior to her present position, she served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Royal Media Services (RMS), a media conglomerate that includes radio and television stations. Before that, she served as the Group Editorial Director at RMS. She holds

Cabinet Secretary Ministry of Education
Professor George Albert Omore Magoha is a Kenyan consultant surgeon, academic, academic administrator and technocrat, who serves as the Cabinet Secretary of Education in the Cabinet of Kenya, effective 26 March 2019. Immediately before his current assignment, he was the chairman of the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC), from 2016 until 2019.
He has previously served as the Vice Chancellor of the University of Nairobi from 2005 until 2015. He is a Professor of Surgery at the University of Nairobi's College of Health Sciences. Prof. George A.O. Magoha, EGH Cabinet Secretary Ministry of Health

Muthahi became the fifth Member of Parliament (MP) for Mukurweini Constituency, Nyeri county (2002 to 2007). He was also the chair of Parliamentary Committee on finance, planning, tourism & trade. Later, he was appointed to serve as the Minister for Information and Communications. Mutahi became the first Hon. Mutahi Senator of Nyeri county under the Jubilee political party (2013- Kagwe 2017).

The Cabinet Secretary, Hon. Betty C. Maina, CBS had served as the Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, State Department for industrialization, and State Department of East African Affairs. She has also served as the Chief Executive of the Kenya Association of Manufacturers for 11 years (between June 2004–July 2015), where she not only oversaw the doubling of membership of the association, but also established seven satellite offices to compliment the services offered at the national office.

Principal Secretary the National Treasury & Ministry of Planning
Dr. Julius Muia is the Principal Secretary at The National Treasury. Prior to this, he was the Principal Secretary at the State Department for Planning – The National Treasury and Planning. Before his appointment as PS Planning, he was the Director General, Vision 2030 Delivery Secretariat which operated under the Office of the President, Republic of Kenya to facilitate the implementation of Vision 2030. This is Kenya’s long-term policy framework that is premised on making Kenya a globally competitive, rapidly industrializing and upper middle-income economy by 2030. Mr Saitoti Torome is the former Director for Strategy and Development at the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS). He is a holder of an MBA in Strategic Management from the University of Nairobi, a Bachelor of Education (Economics and Geography) from Kenyatta University. Dr. Chris K. Kiptoo, CBS is the Principal Secretary (PS) for the Ministry of Environment and Forestry. He was reassigned to this Ministry by H.E. President Uhuru Kenyatta in January, 2020. Prior to this new assignment, Dr. Kiptoo was the immediate Principal Secretary, State Department for Trade in the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Cooperatives. He held the docket since December, 2015. While in Trade, Dr. Kiptoo was able to accomplish a lot in four years he has been the Principal Secretary. Professor Paul Mwangi Maringa is the Principal Secretary for the State Department of Transport in the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development of the Republic of Kenya. The role of the Ministry is to deliver Kenya’s ambitious plans to have a world class transport and logistics system for the country that will contribute to the realization of Kenya’s national vision to be middle income country before 2030. Mrs. Karigithu is currently the Principal Secretary, State Department for Shipping and Maritime in the Ministry of Transport, Infrastructure, Housing, Urban Development and Public Works. Before her present appointment, Mrs. Karigithu was working as a short-term legal expert for the European Union (EU) project Critical Maritime Routes, aimed at enhancing Maritime situational awareness in the Indian Ocean.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in law from the University of Nairobi and a master’s degree in International Maritime law from the IMO International Maritime Law Institute, Malta. Mr. Micah Pkopus Powon is currently the Principal Secretary, State Department for ASAL Areas. Ms. Josephta O. Mukobe holds a MSc. from Manchester University (UK) and a BA (Hons) Humanities and Social Science from the University of Nairobi. Ms. Josephta Mukobe has a public service career spanning for over twenty-five years. She joined the Civil Service in 1986 as a Personnel Officer in the Ministry of Home Affairs and National Heritage and rose through the ranks to the position of Deputy Director Human Resource Management. In July 2013, she was appointed as the Principal Secretary / Coordination of National Government where she was in-charge of the Kenya Prisons Service, Probation, and Betting Control & Licensing Board.

Dr. Richard Belio Kipsang is the Principal Secretary Basic Education, Ministry of Education. He has held several senior positions in the public sector including Coffee Development Fund and Higher Education Loans Board. He is a Council Member at Mt. Kenya University; the Co-operative University College; Finance Alliance for Sustainable Trade, (FAST) and the Advisory Council for Coffee Initiative. He chairs the Operations Committee, Association of African Higher Education Financing Agencies (AAHEFA). Prof. Ntiba holds a BSc in Biological Sciences and a master’s degree in Hydrobiology from the University of Nairobi, He went on to receive his PhD in Fisheries Biology from the University of East Anglia in the United Kingdom, was Director of the School of Biological Sciences at the University of Nairobi and held various positions at the Department of Zoology. Hon. Safina Kwekwe Tsungu, CBS, was appointed the Principal Secretary for Tourism in the Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife on 14th January, 2020, by His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta. Hon. Tsungu is charged with the following responsibilities: Formulation of national tourism policies, plans, strategies, guidelines and goals; Tourism Development and Promotion that is marketing Kenya to both local and International tourists, Tourism Financing, Support infrastructure development for sustainable growth of tourism, and Tourism Research and Monitoring to develop innovative tourism products. Mr. Julius Korir is the Principal Secretary, State Department for Youth. He previously served in the State Department of Infrastructure in the Ministry of Transport, Infrastructure, Housing, Urban Development and Public Works having been appointed in February, 2018. Prior to this appointment, he served as the Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Health and as Principal Secretary State Department of Investment and Industry in the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Cooperatives, having been appointed on 18th December, 2015. Prior to this he was appointed Industrialization Secretary, in the then Ministry of Industrialization and Enterprise Development from May, 2014. Mary previously worked as a Lecturer at the University of Nairobi, School of Business for over 20 years and as a Faculty Advisor for Students in Free Enterprise. A graduate of Nairobi University and Manchester University - UK, Mr. Solomon Kitungu was formerly an Investment Director at the National Treasury. Prior to this, he served as an Executive Director of the Privatization Commission from 2009 – 2017 and Investment Director at the National Treasury from 2003 – 2009. Hon. Justice Isaac Lenaola who is an advocate of the High Court, holds a Bachelors of Law Degree from the University of Nairobi.
