He is a Chartered Public Accountant (Institute of Chartered Macharia, EGH Accountants of England and Wales) Cabinet Secretary Ministry of East African Community & Regional Development On 25 April 2013, Mohammed was named as Kenya's Cabinet Secretary for Industrialization, one of 18 Cabinet Secretary nominees to the new Uhuru Kenyatta administration. He was later sworn into office on 15 May 2013. Adan worked for Barclays Bank for over 15 years in different parts of the world. He was the CEO of Barclays Kenya for a period of 10 years that saw the Bank grow from strength to strength. Prior to Barclays, he worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers for a period of 7 years in London where he trained as a Chartered Accountant. He is an MBA graduate of Harvard Business School in the US, and a First Class B.comm degree graduate from the University of Mr. Adan A. Nairobi. Mohamed, EGH 3 Cabinet Secretary Ministry of Water & Sanitation and Irrigation Sicily Kanini Kariuki is a Kenyan politician who has been serving as the Cabinet Secretary for Water, Sanitation and Irrigation, since 20 January 2020. She previously served as the Cabinet Secretary for Health. Previously, she was the Cabinet Secretary for Public Service, Youth and Gender Affairs, from December 2015 until January 2018. Kariuki enjoyed a wide-ranging career in the business world, Mrs. Sicily K. Kariuki, EGH including as an officer of the Kenya Investment Authority, and as Chief Executive Officer of Fresh Produce Exporters Association of Kenya. Sicily then served as the Managing Director and CEO of "Tea Board of Kenya". In 2012, while at the helm of the tea board in 2012. She also served as the Principal Secretary, in the Department of Agriculture, in the Kenyan Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries. She holds B.Com degree from the University of Nairobi. Cabinet Secretary Ministry of Devolution Eugene Ludovic Wamalwa is a Kenyan politician who is the Cabinet Secretary of the Ministry of Devolution and ASALs, an expansion of the former Ministry of Devolution. Until 26 January 2018, he was Cabinet Secretary for Water and Irrigation. He is also a former minister for Justice. He holds Bachelor's Degree in Law from the University of Nairobi. Hon. Eugene Wamalwa, EGH 4 Cabinet Secretary Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries & Cooperatives Hon. Peter Gatirau Munya is the Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Cooperative (Kenya). He took over the ministry on 14th January 2020. This is after he was transferred from the Ministry of Trade and Industrialization. He also served in the same capacity in the ministry of East African Community and Northern Corridor Development. Cabinet Secretary Ministry of Public Service & Gender Prior to her Cabinet position, Professor Kobia served as the Chairperson of the Public Service Commission (PSC). She has also served as the Vice Chair Judicial Service Commission and is a member of United Nations Committee of Expert in Public Administration (CEPA) that advises the UN Economic and Social Council. She has been the Cabinet Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade since 16 February 2018. Previously, she held the position of Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from January 12, 2016. Prior to this, she was the Principal Secretary at the Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government. Formerly, she served as Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Defence. Dr. Juma has served as Ambassador ExtraOrdinary and Plenipotentiary to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, the Republic of Djibouti and Permanent Representative of Kenya to the African Union, InterGovernment Authority on Development (IGAD) and United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), based out of Addis Ababa. Juma, EGH Cabinet Secretary Ministry of Labour & Social Services Simon Kiprono Chelugui is the current Cabinet Secretary for Labour and Social Protection following his recent appointment in January 2020. Prior to this, he served as the Cabinet |Secretary Water. Simon holds a Master’s Degree (Msc) in Finance, Investment & Strategic Management and Bachelors of Commerce (Management Science Option) Degree from the University of Nairobi, Kenya. He has also been extensively trained in Corporate Governance. Chelugui, EGH 6 Cabinet Secretary Ministry of Environment & Forestry Mr. Keriako Tobiko is the Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Environment and Forestry. He was appointed by H.E the President to replace Prof. Judi Wakhungu in the last cabinet reshuffle that was done in January, 2018. Before his appointment, Tobiko was the Director of Public Prosecutions, the first holder of the office under the Mr. Keriako Constitution of Kenya 2010 having been first appointed in Tobiko, EGH 2005. He was re-designated as the Chief Public Prosecutor in August 2010 and appointed to head the independent constitutional office in June 2011. He is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya and formerly a lecturer at the University of Nairobi. Mr. Tobiko is an alumnus of the University of Nairobi and Cambridge University. Cabinet Secretary Ministry of Lands & Physical Planning Farida Karoney is a Kenyan who was nominated by President Uhuru Kenyatta as Cabinet Secretary for Lands, on 26 January 2018. Immediately prior to her present position, she served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Royal Media Services (RMS), a media conglomerate that includes radio and television stations. Before that, she served as the Group Editorial Director at RMS. She holds Doctor of Philosophy degree in Strategic Management (UoN), MBA (Business Administration), Postgraduate Diploma in Mass Communication and Bachelor of Education from Kenyatta Ms. Farida C. University. Karoney, EGH 7 Cabinet Secretary Ministry of Education Professor George Albert Omore Magoha is a Kenyan consultant surgeon, academic, academic administrator and technocrat, who serves as the Cabinet Secretary of Education in the Cabinet of Kenya, effective 26 March 2019. Immediately before his current assignment, he was the chairman of the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC), from 2016 until 2019. He has previously served as the Vice Chancellor of the University of Nairobi from 2005 until 2015. He is a Professor of Surgery at the University of Nairobi's College of Health Sciences. Prof. George A.O. Magoha, EGH Cabinet Secretary Ministry of Health He is currently serving as the Health Cabinet Secretary in the Republic of Kenya. Hon Mutahi Kagwe took the oath of office on the 28th of February, 2020. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Insurance) degree from the University of Nairobi Muthahi became the fifth Member of Parliament (MP) for Mukurweini Constituency, Nyeri county (2002 to 2007).
