100 Women in Hedge Funds is a global membership association of more than 2,700 professional women who are in financial services careers in and around the industry. The group’s mission includes advancing a positive image of the alternative investment industry, providing unique, high quality educational opportunities for members, promoting personal and professional advancement, and providing a productive, efficient way for members to make a difference through philanthropy or volunteerism.

The National Ovarian Cancer Early Detection Program (NOCEDP), as part of the larger Screening and Prevention Program, serves 20,000 patients annually and provides expert early detection and treatment of ovarian cancer. At the NYU Cancer Institute, David Fishman, M.D. leads a multidisciplinary team of scientists, clinicians, physicians and genetic counselors. The NOCEDP and its partner programs utilize cutting edge imaging techniques and comprehensive genetic counseling to provide a world-renowned High Risk Screening and Prevention Program for women's cancers. Recognized by the National Cancer Institute, the NOCEDP collaborates with the FDA and over 50 research institutions worldwide to develop a clinical blood test that will accurately detect ovarian cancer in the early stages. 100 Women in Hedge Funds’ Industry Leadership Award Ellen C. Schubert Ellen C. Schubert will accept the “100 Women in Hedge Funds' Industry Leadership Award” of 2005. Ellen is a Managing Director at UBS Investment Bank. She serves as Global Head of the Foreign Exchange Hedge Fund Business, Global Head of for FX, as well as the Co-Head of UBS’ Cross Product Hedge Fund initiative. Ellen started her career in 1983 at the Chicago Board of Trade and joined First Chicago/O’Connor in 1987, which was fully acquired by Swiss Bank Corp in 1992. A founding member of the Diversity Committee of UBS, and helped to launch the women's network, All Bar None. Ellen is a member of the UBS Investment Bank Board, a member of the Federal Reserve Board - Foreign Exchange Committee, and Co- Chair of the Operations Managers Working Group. Ellen was the recipient of the “Merit Award” from the Women's Bond Club of New York in 2004. 100 Women in Hedge Funds’ Effecting Change Award Gary D. Cohn Gary D. Cohn will accept the “100 Women in Hedge Funds’ Effecting Change Award” of 2005. Gary is a Member of the Management Committee of Goldman, Sachs & Co. and Co-Head of both the FICC and Equities Divisions. Gary became a Partner in 1994 and a Managing Director in 1996. In the past, he has been a director of the London Metals Exchange, a Board and Executive Committee member of the New York Mercantile Exchange and the Commodity Exchange. Felicia Taylor was named co-anchor of NewsChannel 4's “Weekend News at 6 & 11PM” in September 2003. Prior to that, Taylor was the co-anchor of NewsChannel 4's “ in New York,” the station's No. 1 rated weekend morning news programs. She joined NewsChannel 4 in October 1998. Taylor came to the station from CNBC, where she was co-anchor of "Today's Business" and "Market Watch." While at CNBC, Taylor also served as a contributor to the weekday editions of "," providing daily business and updates for the show. She has also contributed reports to NBC "News at Sunrise.” Taylor joined CNBC in 1992 as London correspondent from the Financial Times, where she anchored three business shows seen on Sky Television and SuperChannel. Previously, Taylor worked as an anchor, producer and writer for Financial News Network and as a reporter for WLS-TV in Chicago. Taylor was nominated five times for a New York Emmy Award: Reporter for a special series on healthcare, Anchor for Weekend Today in New York, Anchor on NewsChannel4's 11PM news and Reporter for a special series on 9/11. Taylor was also awarded the 9/11 Media Appreciation Award by the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce and the Women's History Month Program by the Federal Women's Program Committee. Taylor serves on the board of the American Heart Association, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, The Alzheimer's Association and American Ballet Theatre. She holds a bachelor's degree in Communications from Northwestern University.
