O God of our Hope, come~ O God of Peace, come~ As we begin this Advent journey, Form us into your Peace-makers. restore us to faithfulness, Enable us to look within ourselves, and shepherd us through these weeks. to make straight our crooked hearts, Soften us and open us to patiently and lovingly await changes to trust in your love, in ourselves and others. your goodness, As you gather us tenderly, your guiding presence. and hold us close, May we take in your word may we also show that same compassion and bring it to life, to the world. giving hope to the hopeless Fill our hearts with your peace, through our words and actions. and our lives with your love, We ask this through Christ, that these may flow from our lives our Savior and our hope.
