Notice of Public Hearing NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to Article 9 of the New York State Constitution, the provisions of the Town Law and Municipal Home Rule of the State of New York, both as amended, a public hearing will be held in the Town Meeting Pavilion, Hempstead Town Hall, 1 Washington Street, Hempstead, New York, on the 5th day of May, 2020, at 10:30 o'clock in the forenoon of that day to consider the enactment of a local law to amend Chapter 202 of the code of the Town of Hempstead to INCLUDE "REGULATIONS AND RESTRICTIONS" to limit parking at the following locations: WEST HEMPSTEAD OAKLAND AVENUE (TH 25/20) East Side - Section 202-20 TWO HOUR PARKING 10 AM TO 6 PM EXCEPT SATURDAYS, SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS - starting at a point 17 feet south of the south curbline of Henry Street then south for a distance of 118 feet. ALL INTERESTED PERSONS shall have an opportunity to submit comments on said proposal(s), and by reason of public health regulations, all comments shall be limited to e-mails only, addressed to [email protected], and received not later than 4:45 p.m. on May 4, 2020.
