The red-hot New York Mets, fresh off of a four-game sweep of the Chicago Cubs to capture their fifth National League pennant, return to the Fall Classic for the first time since 2000 and face two-time defending American League champion Kansas City Royals, who are seeking to win the final game of 2015 after falling one game short a year ago. FOX Sports again offers fans extensive, multi-platform coverage on FOX broadcast network, FS1, FOX Sports Regional Networks, FOX Deportes, FOXSports.com, FOX Sports GO and FOX Sports Radio, with extensive coverage of the World Series from the first pitch to the final out. Beginning with Game 1 in Kansas City on Tuesday, Oct. 27, seven-time Emmy Award-winning play-by-play announcer Joe Buck calls his 18th World Series, and is joined by analysts Harold Reynolds and Tom Verducci, each of whom are notching their second Fall Classic in the booth. MLB on FOX insider, FOXSports.com senior baseball writer and Emmy Award winner Ken Rosenthal, and veteran reporter Erin Andrews contribute interviews and information from the dugouts before, during and after games. Kevin Burkhardt anchors FOX Sports’ World Series pregame and postgame coverage presented by Chevrolet live on site. Pregame shows for all weeknight World Series games begin at 7:00 PM ET on FS1 and Burkhardt is joined for all pregame and postgame shows by an eclectic team of analysts that includes Hall of Famer and 2005 World Series champion Frank Thomas, three-time World Series champion and MLB all-time hits leader Pete Rose, three-time American League MVP and 2009 World Series champion Alex Rodriguez and 19-year veteran and former All-Star Raúl Ibañez. Pete Macheska serves as lead MLB on FOX game telecast producer, piloting his 12th World Series; John Moore directs.
