Cleveland Arts Education Consortium Creative Arts Learning In-Person & Online “I finally had time to really go through this guide. It is just full of amazing resources. I enjoyed checking out everyone's websites as well as taking a look at all of the opportunities available to schools and the community.” Jennifer Harris, Executive Director, Rainey Institute The corona pandemic drastically changed everything for all of us. With vaccines reaching more people, we are beginning to see some light. As we look forward, we need to bear in mind that the coronavirus is not behind us by any stretch of the imagination and remain mindful of that reality in all we do. Throughout the coming months, the Cleveland Metropolitan School District and other schools and communities are cautiously transitioning to in-person work while retaining beneficial online and hybrid elements. Looking back, we want to celebrate the online arts learning work done by creative school leaders and teachers to safely engage and teach at every level. Last year, Cleveland Arts Education Consortium members creatively pivoted to online formats to offer arts experiences of every dimension imaginable to young and old — so students at every stage of learning could keep going and stay connected with one another and their artist teachers. It was inspiring and awesome to see the resiliency and ingenuity. They helped us all cope, engage and learn. Thank you. In this special book, we offer a range of exciting online and in-person programs. Browse through the activities available from Cleveland Arts Education Consortium members and other sources. You’ll find intriguing programs along with innovative sites for every age, PreK-Grade 12 youth to senior adult. In the words of one of our funders, “Cleveland IS the arts.” And, you’ll see it in these listings.
