Installation Guide Platform: DBALL2 Firmware: NISS1HT Rev.: 20170125 Update Alert: Firmware updates are posted to the web on a regular basis. We recommend that you check for firmware and/or install guide updates prior to installing this product. Installation Guide The NISS1HT firmware for DBALL2 is an all-in-one door lock and override module compatible with specific Chevrolet, Infiniti, Nissan and Suzuki vehicles. This module can only be flashed and configured using XpressVIP at www.directechs.com or using the Directechs Mobile application for smartphones. Refer to the Module Programming section on page 11 for more information. Note: NISS1HT is compatible with all key type Nissan and Infiniti vehicles (it does NOT cover knob or Push-to-Start (PTS) vehicles). See NISS2HT for knob or NISS3HT and NISS4HT for PTS. Important: This guide is compatible with the NISS1HT firmware version 3.23 and higher. FMVSS No. 111, Rear Visibility, requires the rear visibility system of vehicles manufactured on or after May 1, 2018 to return to a default rearview image at the beginning of each backing event regardless of any modifications the driver previously selected. On affected vehicles, a driver may potentially adjust the rearview camera and display settings to a degree that the image is no longer visible, and the system will retain those settings at the next backing event. This condition does not meet the requirements for default view required for FMVSS No. 111. Retailers will reprogram the rear visibility system with countermeasure software. INFINITI is providing retailers with USB flash drive kits to standardize and expedite the repair process.
