Lama Gangchen Rinpoche’s principal masters Lama Gangchen Rinpoche’s principal teachers are his root guru Trijang Rinpoche and Masters Zong Rinpoche and Ling Rinpoche. H.H. Kyabje Trijang Dorje Chang (1901-1981) was recognized as one of the foremost Tibetan Buddhist Masters of our time. Kyabje Trijang Dorje Chang was the tutor and root guru of the 14th Dalai Lama. Kyabje Trijang Dorje Chang was revered for his extraordinary method of teaching and his precious activities, particularly in the tradition of Je Tsongkhapa. Up to the end of his life, Kyabje Trijang Dorje Chang continuously turned the Wheel of Dharma for the sake of all sentient beings. The flourishing of the Dharma in the West is strongly connected with him, because of his own teachings as well as the precious activities of his great disciples such as Kyabje Zong Rinpoche, Venerable Geshe Rabten Rinpoche, Venerable Lama Yeshe, and many others. Complete biography H.H. Kyabje Yongzin Ling Rinpoche (1903-1983), was one of the most renowned and qualified masters of the 20th century. He was very learned and an accomplished writer, poet and expert on grammar. In 1965 H.H. Ling Rinpoche was appointed the 97th Ganden Throne Holder (“Ganden Tripa”) and held this position as the head of the Gelug school for more than 20 years. Complete biography H.H. Kyabje Zong Rinpoche (1905-1984) was a Gelug Lama and disciple of the third Trijang Rinpoche, junior tutor of the 14th Dalai Lama.
