ADMINISTRATIVE APPROVALS City of Cleveland Frank G. Jackson, Mayor City Planning Commission 1. Ordinance No. 365-16(Citywide): Authorizing the Directors of City Planning and Capital Projects to apply for and accept grants from the Ohio Department of Transportation for the Safe Routes to School Program; and determining the method of making the public improvement of constructing infrastructure improvements; authorizing the appropriate director to enter into one or more public improvement contracts and professional service contracts; and authorizing contracts and agreements with the State of Ohio, Cleveland Metropolitan School District, and other entities needed to implement the grant; and to apply for and accept grants or gifts from any public or private entity to implement this ordinance. 2. Ordinance No. 430-16(Ward 3/Councilmember McCormack): To appropriate property for the public purpose of constructing and maintaining a sewer along Scranton Road for the Scranton/Carter Road Rehabilitation project. 3. Ordinance No. 465-16(Ward 3/Councilmember McCormack): Authorizing the Director of Port Control to enter into one or more agreements with Cumberland Lakefront, LLC to provide financial assistance to partially finance the cost of the improving the restroom and volleyball courts at Voinovich Park. 4. Resolution No. 467-16(Ward 3/Councilmember McCormack): Approving the continuation and expansion of the Ohio City – Cleveland Business Improvement District as a Special Improvement District in the City; accepting petitions from owners of property in the District; approving an amendment to the Articles of Incorporation of the Market District Improvement Corporation; approving a new plan for public services; declaring it necessary to provide safety, cleaning, and other services for the District; and providing for the assessment of the cost of such work upon benefited property in the District; and declaring an emergency. 5.
