February 15, 2008 The Abaconian Section A Page 1 VOLUME 15, NUMBER 4 FEBRUARY 15th, 2008 Police Band escorted officers to church Annual service for uniformed officers worshiped at Grace Baptist Church By Jennifer Hudson The Royal Bahamas Police Force, Ab- aco District, held its annual church ser- vice on February 3 at the Grace Baptist Church in Dundas Town. The service was conducted by the Abaco Christian Council and also attended by members of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force, Bahamas Im- migration Department, Bahamas Customs Department and Road Traffic Department as well as members of Local Government and members of the public wishing to show support for their local Law Enforcement officers. The service was moderated by Bishop Clifford Henfield, Pastor of Grace Baptist Church and Treasurer of the Abaco Chris- tian Council. Pastors from many other churches on Abaco took part in the scrip- ture readings and prayers and the Royal Bahamas Police Force Band from Nassau led the music. Bishop Henfield introduced Abaco’s Members of the Royal Bahamas Police Force band accompanied the Abaco Police officers, Defence Force officers, Immigration, new Officer in Charge of the Abaco Police Customs and Road Traffic members to Grace Baptist Church in Dundas Town where Bishop Anthony Campbell, President of the Abaco Christiam Council, was the speaker.
