And, much as we hate to admit it, this is not due to the wrath of the gods, the irony of fate, or even the unrelenting grudges of the poor professors involved. N o — it’s much more simple than that. It’s usual­ ly the simple fact that all this work, assigned weeks before, was just put off until the last minute in favor o f nights at the movies, a few hands o f the bridge in the smoker, a coke at the Wildcat, or even a gala w^eek-end away from the stodgy dullness of an all-too-familiar campus. It’s usualy because good intentions got snowed under by too many outside activities and too much fooling around. It’s usually be­ cause the factor of time and how best to utilize it was not taken into consideration, or taken into consideration and then forgotten. It’s sad to relate but these seem to be the facts, and the results of these facts in the grades received are not always pleasant to contemplate.
