The holidays are drawing near and Qatar Airways looks forward to serving your clients with unmatched excellence and convenience during this busy travel season.

We are pleased to share a number of commercial updates, special offers and product updates with you, all of which will further enhance our overall service proposition for your clients:

COMMERCIAL UPDATES

1. All QR departures from New York’s JFK Airport will operate from Terminal 8 (American Airlines Terminal) effective December 15th. Eligible premium customers will have access to American Airlines’ recently refurbished Flagship Business class lounge. The published schedule for QR702 and QR704 remains unchanged.

2. A fourth daily Doha-Dhaka service will be launched on February 15, 2020. The new service, QR642 departs Doha at 7pm, providing a second connecting option for all flights arriving from North America. On the return, QR643 connects with the return to Washington, D.C. providing the fastest elapsed journey time between Bangladesh and Washington, D.C.

3. Qatar Airways now connects daily in both directions from all US gateways to Johannesburg, South Africa. New service to Gaborone, Botswana commences on December 15th.

4. The Doha stopover program has been extended for another year. Book by 28 December 2020 for travel until 31 December 2020 to enjoy a luxurious holiday of up to four nights in a four or five-star hotel in Qatar from just USD 23*. With stunning architecture, luxurious resorts and a preserved cultural heritage, a stopover in Doha is like adding a bonus holiday to your customer's trip.

1. Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker, signed a codeshare agreement with IndiGo, increasing capacity to India for Qatar Airways' passengers. Code-share flights are now live for sale, travel commencing on December 18th. The first phase of the agreement covers IndiGo (6E) operated services linking Doha with Delhi, Hyderabad, and Mumbai. 2. Hamad International Airport, HIA, announced a monumental expansion plan on 23 October 2019. HIA's expansion project will increase capacity to more than 60 million passengers annually. With planned two-part expansion commencing early 2020, passengers can anticipate 11,720 sqm of landscaped retail and F&B space as well as an added 9,000 sqm of our world-class Al Mourjan lounge.
