New Islamabad International Airport

It is about 5km away from the Project site of B-17 and 2km from F-17.

It was inaugurated on 7th April, 2007 by the then President of Pakistan. Test flights have landed on 15th March, 2012 and the Airport is likely to become functional in Construction of Margalla Avenue 2015.

B-17 and F-17 Scheme are centrally located in Zone-II.

Travel time from Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Taxila, Wah Cantt and Hassanabdal will be about 15 to 20 mints especially on implementation of the following projects:
