Raiders 17, Titans 10  The Raiders won their second consecutive road win of the season to start 2-0 away from home, the first time they’ve done so since 2002 when they defeated the Steelers in Week 2 at Pittsburgh and the Bills in Buffalo in Week 4.  The victory over the Titans gives the team a five-game advantage in the all-time regular season series, with it now standing at 25-20.  The Raiders now have a two-game win streak against the Tennessee club, the first win coming by a score of 24- 21 in 2015.  The Raiders’ are now 4-1 in the team’s last five regular season road games, dating back to Nov. 29, 2015 at Tennessee.

Game Headlines  The Raiders opened on offense with a five-play, 60-yard scoring drive that lasted 1:31. The for the Raiders’ offense is the first on an opening drive of the 2016 season and first opening-drive score since Dec. 6, 2015.  The Raiders converted on their third 90-plus yard scoring drive of the season, an eight-play, 91-yard drive that lasted 3:44.  The defense forced three turnovers for the first time since Week 4 of the 2015 season.  The Raiders’ five rushing are tied for most in the NFL.

K Sebastian Janikowski Now NFL’s All-Time Leader  K Sebastian Janikowski became the NFL’s all-time leader in field goals of 50-or-more yards (53), passing Jason Hanson, when he made a 52-yarder in the second quarter to give the Raiders a 10-3 lead over the Titans.  Janikowski’s 52-yard field goal also move him ahead of Ryan Longwell for 14th all-time in points scored.  Janikowski now has 500 career field goal attempts in regular season and postseason combined.

QB Derek Carr  QB Derek Carr finished the day with 249 passing yards on 21-of-35 passing (60 percent) with one touchdown and one for a passer rating of 79.3.

 It was the first interception of the season for Carr and first in 137 passing attempts.

WR Amari Cooper  WR Amari Cooper recorded his sixth reception of 20-plus yards, second the NFL in that category, and helped lead to the Raiders’ first score of the game.  Cooper finished the day with four receptions for 62 yards (15.5 yard avg.).

WR Michael Crabtree  WR Michael Crabtree recorded his 20th consecutive game with at least three receptions, dating back to his final game as a member of the 49ers (12/28/2014).  Crabtree registered his ninth career 100-plus yard game on a key third-and-nine play late in the fourth quarter by hauling in an 11-yard pass to give the offense a first down.  His 100-plus yard performance is his fourth as a Raider and first of the season.  Crabtree led all receivers in the game with 102 yards on eight receptions (12.8 yard avg.), while also recording the long reception of the game (31 yards).

RB Latavius Murray  RB Latavius Murray capped the Raiders’ opening drive of the game with a 22-yard touchdown to give the Raiders a 7-3 lead.  Murray scored a touchdown for the third consecutive game in 2016, the first time he’s done so in his fourth season with the Raiders.  Murray finished the day with 10 carries for 37 yards (3.7 yard avg.) with a touchdown and one catch for one yard.

WR Seth Roberts  On second-and-five from the Titans’ 19-yard line, QB Derek Carr found WR Seth Roberts for a 19-yard score that gave the Raiders a 17-3 lead with 40 seconds left to play in the first half.  His two receiving touchdowns on the season leads all receivers for the team.  Roberts finished the day with two catches for 27 yards (13.5 avg.) with a 19-yard long.

DL Denico Autry  With 6:02 left to play in the game, DL Denico Autry registered his first sack of the season and first of the game for the Raiders.

LB Bruce Irvin  On third-and-13 in the second quarter, LB Bruce Irvin tackled a scrambling Marcus Mariota and created his second forced of the season.  Irvin finished the day with four tackles and one forced fumble.

S Reggie Nelson  After a Bruce Irvin forced fumble, S Reggie Nelson recorded his first takeaway of the season by making the recovery.  Nelson registered his first interception of the season after a deflection, ending the final drive of the first half.

CB Sean Smith  CB Sean Smith recorded his first interception as a Raider, giving the defense its third takeaway of the day.  Smith finished with three tackles (two solo) and one interception.

P Marquette King  P Marquette King turned in another impressive day with seven punts totaling 326 yards (46.6 yard avg.), including a career-long 72-yard punt in the third quarter.  King also pinned the Titans inside the 20-yard line three times.

NFL Firsts  S o Joseph saw extensive playing time on defense by making his first career start at safety. o Joseph finished as the Raiders’ leading tackler with 10 (six solo).  LB Cory James o James started at linebacker for the defense, his first career NFL start. o James finished tied second on the team with six tackles.
