CHRISTMAS DINNER 2016 On Sunday 4th December, 29 Ford Owners Car Club members (I included young Alex in this total) celebrated Christmas enjoying a lovely dinner at the Old Mill in Hahndorf. We were very lucky with the weather and enjoyed a coffee and scones at one of the local coffee shops before heading off to lunch. We all enjoyed lunch then went for a walk along the main street to wear off some of the calories. Many thanks go to Gloria and Alice for providing games and prizes, which proved a hit with everyone. Also, thank you to the staff at the Old Mill for the excellent food and service. Also thanks to all the FOCC members for their support of this event makes the organising worth the while to see people enjoy themselves. Graham Farrell

January 2017 President’s Patter Happy New Year! As of the December meeting, we still have constitutional changes to deal with. Some changes have been considered and voted upon. There is a lot of work to do to get the remaining changes sorted. We need to think carefully as this is a legal document. Once finalised it has to be lodged with the Office of business and Consumer Affairs. Every time we change the constitution, we have to do this and it costs the club to do this. Each time a motion is put to the meeting, each member gets one chance, only, to speak to the meeting, for or against the motion. It requires 75% of a vote of the members present at the meeting to pass the motion. At the last meeting we passed part of the constitution regarding 5 attendances per year to be a member. This has not been brought up in the past, but from now it will be policed. I will be very happy when this is done and finalised. Barry Hall, El Presidente.
