ROUND 10 – Wilson Security Sandown 500 RACE 29 Sandown Raceway, Springvale, Victoria, 12-14 September 2014 Sandown Raceway, located in Springvale, 25 kilometres from Melbourne’s CBD, has hosted more ATCC/V8SC events than any other circuit in Australia. The fast and owing circuit, which borders the Sandown Park horse track, comprises of two long straights and the Esses section leading into Dandenong Road corner, one of the best sections of race track on the championship calendar. The circuit requires a higher degree of engine performance to provide power to the cars for both straights..
