A pre-Departure Guide for International Students Coming to Study at Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University (TOGÜ)

Placement Students can select 10 programs at Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University. Depending on their choices and scores (YOS and high school diploma) placement will be done automatically. Visa and Registration An acceptance letter will be sent to the student and Turkish Embassy will be informed about the accepted students. Final registration to Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University will be done when the students arrive in Tokat
Language Education Students whose Turkish language competency is not enough are required to take pre-academic intensive Turkish courses in Turkish language teaching centre of Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University (TOGU-TÖMER).
Language Education Fee and the Duration All students will pay approximately 450 US dollars one year for pre-academic intensive Turkish courses. However, students who succeed these courses in a shorter time will pay less or vice versa. This part of the education is out of support for all students.
Accommodation Accommodation costs will be covered by the students. There are dormitories for male and female students. International Students Office will provide the contact information of the dormitories for the students.
Accommodation and Living Costs in Tokat Accommodation costs (breakfast and dinner included): 100 USD/month Student allowance: 80 USD/month Lunch: 0,4 USD/day Except for the tuition fee, the total amount is about 200 $ per month.
