[I wrote this Pastor’s Corner on Tuesday, June 5, while on retreat with Bishop Vann and the diocesan priests of the Diocese of Orange.]

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

We have just finished our second day of our Priest Retreat. Our Retreat Master is Bishop Larry Silva. He is the Bishop of Honolulu. We are enjoying the talks he is giving us. Bishop Silva describes a retreat as taking a vacation with Jesus. A retreat is spending quality time with Jesus.
