Se realizaron varios ajustes de tipo presupuestal, administrativos, y fundamentalmente ajustes en la parrilla de programación del canal incluyendo nuevos espacios, rediseño de proyectos, etc.), y ajustes en la forma en que llegamos a la audiencia con el uso y aprovechamiento de nuestras pantallas y de las plataformas digitales.

El proyecto Media Ownership Monitor (MOM), realizado por Reporteros Sin Fronteras y el Centro Nacional de Comunicación Social (Cencos A.C.), encontró que la falta de datos del mercado, la opacidad en la medición de las audiencias, el efecto corruptor de la publicidad oficial y el insuficiente marco regulatorio son factores clave que aumentan el alto nivel de la concentración de medios en manos de unos cuantos propietarios, en vez de limitarlo. De esta manera, la sociedad mexicana se ve afectada negativamente en su derecho a recibir información diversa y confiable, lo cual va en detrimento del fortalecimiento del pensamiento propio, libre e independiente –características inherentes a las naciones democráticas–.
