There are three types of secondary school admissions which are as follows: 1. Children transferring from Year 6 to Year 7 in September 2020 (referred to as normal rounds of admission); 2. In year admissions, which are all other admissions where children move from one school to another part way through a school year; and 3. Admissions to schools with an atypical age range, such as University Technical College. By virtue of section 88K (2), the adjudicator’s decision is binding on the admission authorities.
