In recognition of the 150th Anniversary of the Diocese of Scranton, the Cathedral of Saint Peter is undergoing a restoration project with enhancements to the interior of the Cathedral.

Gifts from the parishioners of the Cathedral of Saint Peter will collectively fund the naming opportunity for the Baptismal Font. The Baptismal Font is comprised of a double bowl with circulating water. The bowl of the font is crafted from Carrara white marble with Giallo Siena marble legs. The new font will be installed in the nave of the church just beyond the vestibule. Baptismal Font ! $200,000 !
