[The following is transcribed from a document in the Thomas Addis Emmet Collection at the New York Public Library http://archives.nypl.org/mss/927 in The Siege of Savannah - Lincoln Papers, document EM7522. The portion of the document available online has no date or signature, but it is described as having been prepared in October 1779 by Edmund M. Hyrne, who was then a Major in the 1st South Carolina Continental Regiment. The Siege of Savannah was begun by Gen. Benjamin Lincoln on September 24, 1779 and abandoned on October 19. Some full names according to Heitman’s Historical Register of Officers of the Continental Army… and numbers of pension or bounty-land applications are added in brackets.]
