Riding on the basis of the H1 and H2 sightseeing routes, the Rickshaw brand is renovated to a brand new “H1 Heritage Tour”, blending the unique colonial history of the city with the best entertainment activities available in one go. It tours around Central, Western District as well as the old streets in Wan Chai, visiting more tourist hotspots, including Lan Kwai Fong, Duddell Street Steps and Bowrington Road Market. The route is then further extended from Hong Kong Island to the urban landscape of Kowloon Peninsula, stopping at major tourist hotspots in Tsim Sha Tsui and Jordan, such as Temple Street, Jade Market, 1881 Heritage, Avenue of Stars, Hong Kong Museum of History and K11 Art Mall. The new “H1 Heritage Tour” offers both Day Scene and Night Scene services to explore Hong Kong via different angles. Departing from the Star Ferry Terminus in Central, it passes along the Golden Bauhinia Square, Cross Harbour Tunnel, Temple Street, Canton Road, Chatham Road South and returns to Hong Kong Island to Paterson Street, Times Square, Happy Valley Racecourse, Pacific Place, Peak Tram Terminus, St. John’s Cathedral and Statue Square before terminating at the Star Ferry Terminus. During daytime, the bus also travels to historical spots such as Exchange Square, Western Market, Queen Street, Man Mo Temple, Old Central Police Station and Statue Square. The journey takes around 105 minutes, stopping at 28 bus stops linking 20 declared monuments, 29 Grade-1 historic buildings and various remarkable shopping centres and urban icons. After sunset, travellers can enjoy the stunning night views of Hong Kong on the open-top double decker. Service hours are between 10:00am to 4:30pm for Day Scene and 5:00pm to 8:30pm for Night Scene daily. The Rickshaw continues to offer one day unlimited hop-on hop-off rides at HK$200 for a One Day Pass, where passengers are free to explore local culture and multiple attractions at their own pace. Single journeys are also available at a fare of HK$33 per trip. All sightseeing buses are equipped with a bus stop announcement system with trilingual commentaries in Cantonese, English and Mandarin video broadcast as your tour guide throughout the journey.
